EXIF.ER: Photo & Video Renamer

Give your photos and videos names that tell you when they were taken. EXIF.ER reads capture dates from EXIF and video metadata to create filenames you can sort across devices and backups. Choose photos and videos from your library to export renamed copies to a folder. Your library originals stay in place. In folder mode, rename files in place or copy them to an output folder. Add an optional tag and group results in a subfolder. Choose an ISO-style, regional, or compact date format. Control which time zone is used and save frequently used tags. Preview folder filenames before starting. If a capture date is missing, choose whether to skip the file or use its file creation date. Follow progress, review recent operations, and share error reports with explanations for skipped or unavailable files. Photos exports process multiple items at once; speed depends on file size, storage, and downloads. Renaming runs on your device without re-encoding: media quality and metadata are preserved. EXIF.ER does not upload your media or track you. Media stored only in iCloud is downloaded through Apple first.
