What's New in ExoSphere

1.3

February 3, 2026

Added sample groups to the File Manager for organized sample management. Added the Move function for assigning samples to groups or returning them to the main list. Added Back navigation to switch between groups and the main sample list. User sample selection now opens directly in the corresponding layer's group for faster workflow. Implemented automatic grouping based on sample name prefixes. Added missing sample indicator "(!)" to the select button when the sample is no longer found. Added three playback modes to the Shard generator: Granular, Oneshot, and Repeat. Some minor user interface improvements. Description updated. Also available as a PDF file on app site. Several minor bugs were fixed.

Cool ambience generator.

I’ve used this developer’s FieldScaper app for a long time and loved it, despite the challengingly complex UI.

Exosphere does what it does pretty well, but I would really like to see CPU optimization: I had an AUM session with this app and a few others and CPU was maxing… and this is on a new M5 iPad Pro. Once I removed it the processor percentage dropped to 7% lol.

Of course you can just bounce down stuff but that’s not always an option if you’re playing live, for example.

Super!

Just beautiful

If you are a fan of soundscapes then this is the app for you.
I was thinking of getting the Elmyra 2 but this app just goes above and beyond. May just sell my Strega and get lost in the choirs, glitchy samples and strings. Thanks Igor. This one is a gem!

Impossible to use on iPhone!!!

ALL OF THE TEXT, all of it, is too fricken small to read!! ALL OF IT! I can’t believe you would do that! What a ripoff. The is the first time since the App Store existed that I am going to request a refund. Seriously, I have lost all respect you all. The text look like horizontal lines the text is do small. Dumb, real dumb. Surprise, surprise, surprise, Apple’s report a complaint doesn’t work. I’ve had with rotten Apple and the ‘junk’ they collect their 30% on! Over the last year, this is only the third purchase from Apple I’ve made. All three are ‘unusable’ for unreadable text. Just because Apple says the app will run, but not that you can actually use it! Lesson learned. No more app purchases. Dumb double-digit IQs are destroying both us and our world.
