About

Expenguin is a simple, private way to track where your money goes — no account, no ads, no subscriptions. Everything stays on your device. See it, don't just log it Your current month's spending shows up right away as a chart — daily trend or category breakdown, your choice. Tap into any category to see exactly what you spent it on, including the shop or restaurant. Compare month to month See how this month stacks up against last month, or the same month last year, with a trend line or a side-by-side category breakdown. Spot the patterns before they become a surprise. Returns happen — track them too Made a return? Record the refund and link it right back to the original purchase. Your totals adjust automatically, and your purchase history stays intact. Make it yours Add your own categories and payment methods, each with their own icon. Choose a background that suits you. Everything's built to match how you actually spend, not a one-size-fits-all template. Your data stays yours Expenguin stores everything locally on your device. No account required, no data collected, nothing sent anywhere. FEATURES - Monthly spending charts — bar or pie, your choice - Custom categories and payment methods - Shop/restaurant tracking with full purchase history - Return and refund tracking, linked to the original expense - Month-over-month and year-over-year comparisons - Light and Sky Blue appearance options - 100% local storage — no account, no ads, no tracking

What's New in Expenguin

1.0.2

August 11, 2026

What's New - New "All Expenses" screen: every expense and refund, most recent first, with a "Load More" button. - Recent Places now sits at the top of Add Expense — tap a place you've used before and it fills in the category and payment method too, not just the name. - Category and Payment Method lists are now sorted by how often you actually use each one, so your most common picks are always at the top. - Amount entry redesigned: just type digits and the decimal point appears automatically (type 1234 for $12.34) — no need to type the "." yourself. - Accounts in Balance can now be reordered — tap Edit, then drag to rearrange accounts within their category. - Nearly 60 new icons added to the category picker, organized by theme (food, home, transport, entertainment, and more). - Fixed an issue where the amount field could show the wrong value while typing until you tapped Save.
