Nice app but search would make it much better
I’ve been using the Expert Golf book for years. It presents golf’s rules in very much simpler, straight forward format. The app does a good job of bringing that format and ease of use into the app.
One of the things that is severely missing is a good search function. The search only searches the section headers. It should search the full text of there complete guide.
For example, suppose you wanted to verify the type of relief you get from a cart path. If their search function worked as it should, you would just type in “cart” or “path” or “road” and it would bring up a the text that had that word in it.
But with the search only searching section headers, you need to know that cart path relief is part of the abnormal course conditions section.
Add a better search and this is easily a 5 star app.

Unverschämt
Ich habe vor 2Jahren für 9,99 € die Regeln gekauft. Für immer, dachte ich. Aber seit die Regeln leicht geändert wurden, muss ich ein upgrade machen, sonst lassen sich die Regeln nicht mehr öffnen. Kostet wieder 9,99 €. Das ist unverschämt und auch sicher nicht rechtens.
Crap app
This app doesn’t work never worked and is now blocked because they want another $20 for updated rules. The rules from prior to update don’t work even though I paid for the app.

Vorsicht wenn sie diese App kaufen, müssen sie auch alle weiteren Updates erwerben. Denn bei einem Update kann die gekaufte „alte“ Version nicht mehr genutzt werden. Das halte ich für eine Frechheit.

Nach Regeländerung unbrauchbar
Mit den neuen Regeln ab 2023 ist die App unbrauchbar geworden, oder man zahlt über 20 €. Ich verstehe ja, dass die neue Fassung kostenpflichtig ist, aber den Preis finde ich wirklich happig. Leider sind jetzt auch die Regeln von 2019 nicht mehr abrufbar, obwohl man ja dafür bezahlt hat. Ich investiere lieber in die Printversion, da kann ich immerhin auch in ein paar Jahren noch reingucken.

Gebühr trotz kauf
Ich habe die Druckversion des Regelbuches gekauft und noch soll ich noch mehr Geld für die App bezahlen, das geht leider gar nicht sehr schade. Das ist bei jedem Reiseführer anders.

Very disappointed with this company. There were only few changes to the rules and now they force you to purchase the new updated version. I can’t open the old version as it takes you to a page to purchase the updated version. I liked the app and it was very useful but now I am going to look for something else. You are just doing a money grab!!

Per quanto riguarda il merito dell’app, trovo che sia molto ben pensata e strutturata e permetta di accedere in modo chiaro e veloce si contenuti.
Spesso la grafica è le animazioni aiutano a comprendere meglio le regole che altrimenti sarebbero più difficilmente interpretabili.
