Does not recognise my email and/or password so now I need to cancel my subscription already! No wonder they have had to move from their large offices in Queen Street. Probably working out of a garden shed
Why it’s the best newspaper in the country
Proof of that statement can be found when listening to BBC radio when quoting items from newspapers they always mention the Express & Star they will not use any other source because they don’t trust them it’s the only one they will rely on.
Review
Great daily local paper but just a few to many adverts but I understand that add bring in revenue. I would b be great if they re-introduced the Saturday Pink football paper there isn’t any Saturday night sports papers anywhere nowadays.

Update never a good experience
For the Second time there has been an update I am unable to access my digital edition there is a digital access screen shot which I don’t have only a direct subscription have telephoned the help line no help at all very frustrated
Great newspaper finally has good app
I keep this app and subscription via ITunes because I think the E&S is probably the best local newspaper in the country. Previous app was a buggy mess. New version vast improvement.
Old news
Most of the news in the paper is usualy a day late. Wolves coverage good. Local news not bad.
New E&S web site
Rubbish. Now I can’t get the Star on my iphone as the new App is for ios 11 and over and mine is 10. I have no intention of buying a new phone just for the Star.
On my ipad I can’t now get 2 pages across the screen in landscape format.
Can’t now get all the pages across the bottom.
I thought an update should represent progress - this is the reverse.
Otherwise I enjoy keeping up with news in the city especially Peter Rhodes

Amateur Hour
Appalling service, app never works and every time it’s updated I cant log in on my iPad. Ive cancelled my subscription in the past because of this and probably will do so again, which is a pity because I read it for the local sport
Sign of the times
Like most things today the good old E & S has jumped on the bandwagon. They went digital they decided we can make money, not people’s pleasure, why do they need to have subscription. I enjoyed catching up with all the local news while on holiday, but not now so thank you E&S for spoiling yet another great institute.

Persevere with this as it is a great local newspaper, this app however is far and away the worst I have to deal with. Currently have the delete and reload the app every day to get it to work. Latest in a long line of issues

You touch app it loads then back to desktop on iPhone 8. Any ideas please.

Since last iOS update the app has stopped working please fix
Frustrating and rubbish
When was this app last updated ? You can only read the chosen paper at a time if you are lucky. If you change anything, even going back a page at times, the whole thing crashes and you have to reload. I can only dream about loading the archive versions !
Please update and this could be a great app worth the money.
Each day I have had to reload the app several times and had to be very careful what I did reading the paper. Very annoying - I doubt I shall renew my subscription unless something is done very quickly.

Can’t log in
Haven’t been able to log in to read the digital version of the paper for months. Emailed them ages ago and they haven’t replied at all. Still paying over £5 every month and not getting anything for it.
Needs urgent attention
The paper is a local champion in the West Midlands and Staffs. Regrettably the app is a disappointment. There is an issue that prevents the news or sports stories updating day on day. The fault has been reported over a month ago but from feedback on this forum, the fault has existed for much longer than this. Come on E&S get it sorted before readers desert you for good.

Don’t Bother
The app never updates unless you delete and reinstall. Current lack of updates is 6 weeks. Left Wolverhampton 28 years ago and this is my window into my home town, area and beloved football team. App is useless.
Abysmal service
I have subscribed directly with the Express and Star. The app goes down on a regular basis, usually on a Friday, so no one can be contacted until Monday. Terrible service , one star is too good

Waste of time. Have downloaded it five times but impossible to get past “how to use” screen.
