PRIVATE BY DESIGN Video decoding, frame selection, OCR, and Markdown formatting run on your iPhone or iPad. Your videos and recognized text are not uploaded to the developer. Optional usage analytics never include videos, recognized text, or filenames and can be disabled at any time. The optional "Ask ChatGPT" button sends your scanned text to ChatGPT (OpenAI) only after you review a clear notice and confirm. Nothing is ever sent automatically. ON-DEVICE POLISH On supported devices, Apple’s on-device language model can optionally improve Markdown structure without rewriting the recognized text. SHARE EXTENSION Send a video to the app directly from another app’s share sheet, then trim, crop, scan, and export.
