Bug
There is a bug. If you tap the Settings cog, then [About / Show directions], the overlay cannot be dismissed.
Also, not sure how to change between Home/Medical user, if the wrong one was selected at install. Unclear if there’s any difference in functionality.

I had no connection between the devices for a couple of weeks, I sent an email, the support team answered me, updated the app and it’s working again. Thank you so much for your support!
What size iPad is this for?
I loaded it on a small iPad and a larger iPad Pro. The chart fills the screen on each which, obviously cannot be correct since they both say to use it at 8’. Either it must adjust the letters to the size of the screen or adjust the recommended viewing distance to compensate for the size of the letters. Looks like they are about the right size on the smaller iPad Air and much too larger (Warranting a viewing distance of perhaps 11 or 12 feet rather than 8) on the large iPad pro. If the app runs on multiple form factor devices it needs to compensate or at least alert users of an issue. Barring that issue, the free version does everything I would expect, but that issue is significant.

Worked great at onetime
Worked great for the first few years after purchase, but now it does not work at all. Just keeps taking me to a page asking me to make purchase of the app again, not happening!
Fantastic app
I just bought this app in June 2021 and it works fantastic. I use this app everyday to both check my vision and practice Active Focus. The remote control feature from my iPhone is awsome, I love that I can sit on the couch and isolate any line on the Snellen and practice clearing up print and exercising my focusing ability. Great job in making this app, I also loved that you could try it out before purchasing. Once I tried it out I immediately purchased this app and it was well worth the money for me. Keep up the great work.

Was great... not after latest iOS update.
Worked for years and was wonderful. After last iOS update, no w crashes immediately upon launch. Would be 5 stars otherwise.
Doesn’t work with iOS 14
App hasn’t been updated in 4 years. Immediately crashes on app launch and apparently is incompatible with current iOS version. Time to look for a new eye chart app.. 😕
Was great,now doesn’t work.
Updated to latest IOS for iPad and this app now doesn’t work. Did love to check my and my boys vision using this app, but if isn’t fixed will have to find a different app. And the support website is not a “trusted” website. So not comfortable sending the developer this issue.

Does not resize the chart on an iPad Pro
The letters are bigger on my 12.9” iPad Pro than they are on my 9.7” iPad. This means that the readings are wrong on one device or the other. Please fix!

Works Great!
My husband and I used this eye chart on an iPad 2017. We stood 8 feet away and read the chart with our glasses to determine if my husband’s prescription had changed.
***He wants sunglasses for driving, Costco has a sale, and he couldn’t get a appointment with his ophthalmologist before the sale ends.
*** My husband has excellent vision, and he read down to the 20/15 line. I have mild cataracts and read down to the 20/30 line. This app works great!

incredibly easy to use
great for testing vision even in a small room because the chart can be resized. i'm surprised it didn't get a higher rating from previous version.

Ruined by up-date
Originally purchased this a couple of years ago and was excellent for do I work. Chart included all required charts.
Recently updated and everything but the Shelley was removed and in app purchases were required to access duo chrome and other charts.
Disgusted.

Waste of time
Waste of time. I hate apps that show pictures in the App Store that they don't even have in the app. There is no eye chart in this app!
Back in business
After a very long time and no updates, most features on this app had stopped working. That is until the latest update. Great to see this app get some attention from the developer again. Back to five stars. Two things would make it perfect. 1. A simple animation that you could run for fixation. 2. Apple Watch support to use the watch as a remote.

Fantastic Eye Chart
The developers have done a great job with this application. It has pretty much all the functionality you could ask for (within the "free" limitations). The chart is easy to use an all the features are well thought out and well-implemented. Works really well with the remote control app for iPhone as well.
