What have you done?!?!
Response from developer
Glad it’s been helpful for you and sorry you’re experiencing issues. A new update is rolling out today to address some of the remaining bugs. I hope it helps address what you’ve experienced.
Nothing appears on screen
Checked app website. No phone support.
Getting Started guide links to different website which requires registration.
Registration is a form of signing up.
Instructions and all requirements ought to be clearly, succinctly on main website page.
Incredible
In a future update, it’d be great to be able to adjust the size of the font displayed.
In additon, I wish you didn’t have to hold your finger down on the screen as the person talks.
It’s nearly perfect.
Excellent
Amazing
Lifesaver
Thank You, Eye Hear
one of the best free apps

We’d be lost without it!
He is 92 and had sudden loss of all of his hearing now and he has dementia, but can still read. I don’t know what we would do without this app. We saw it in action with an ENT doctor in the ER. I literally don’t know how we would be managing without this app. It’s a game changer. I think you have an opportunity to promote this wider and farther with ENTs, hearing loss clinics etc
A family saver
Useless
Helpful but…
Sending thanks and excitement
Love this! just a slight delay
I like that you can switch to typing, which is also great if Siri gets a word wrong and you want to correct it.
We like Ava for things like family gatherings or longer conversations, but this is spot on for using for shorter interactions. Thanks!
EyeHear! Here! Here!
THIS APP IS AWESOME!!
That’s all I need to say. It is so easy to use and while occasional mistakes occur, they are FEW and FAR between and likely due to the speakers speech pattern or enunciation.
THANK YOU FOR THIS APP! Many Blessings upon you!

Great service, but more…?
While this is very helpful and appreciated, it seems you could go further.
What would be even better is to change the dynamic such that the person who is hard of hearing observes spoken text their OWN phone, and others, perhaps using AirPods attached to their phone, could Bluetooth the text to his phone, perhaps bracketed to show the speaker.
By this development, instead of everyone else having to do something to aid one person, that person can manage their own needs. Everyone would not need to hold their phone and show it to that person, making the conversation somewhat more natural and intimate.
From my view, this would require no new technology and clearly you are more than smart enough to figure this out.
Please consider!
Lifesaver of an App!
This app has been a true Godsend during an extremely difficult time in her life. I prefer using my iPad so the screen is larger and easier for my mom to see. I hold the device in front of me facing her (or beside my face) so she can kind of get the whole conversation experience. I don’t even watch the screen. I just lift my finger every so often and keep talking. This has helped her stay more engaged in a conversation and really know every that is being said.
There are thousands of people in long-term care (LTC) facilities right now who are still on lockdown. There are so many caregiver social media pages, a couple of which I’m a member. Every chance I get, I tell other caregivers about this app because of their loved one’s hearing issues. Any time I tell someone about it and they try it, they love it!
This is a gem of an app that so many members of the Greatest Generation that ever lived who are now imprisoned in their LTC facilities could really benefit from.
If more LTC’s knew about this app, it would help the staff communicate with the residents since everyone is wearing masks now, which makes it rather difficult to read lips. My mom’s LTC never heard of EyeHear before I told them about it. And I love that you don’t take advantage of the hearing-impaired community and their disability by charging for this incredible service! Thank you so much!!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I’m truly touched that eyeHear could help you and your mother communicate during this difficult time. I really appreciate you sharing eyeHear with other caregivers as well. These are the sorts of experiences that reinforce so many of the decisions made in developing eyeHear, such as finding a way to offer it for free. Thank you.
Siri problem
Checked my phone settings and Siri is allowed
Another hearing helper app that is not worth the time or space to down load
Might be nice if Siri was working in the app ?
