Useless!
It appears they’ve removed the ability to open and close the device unless you’re connected to wi-fi. I’ve tried resetting the wi-fi module and updating firmware, but it’s still not working.
Won’t Connect
We had this connected to our old provider but when we switched, it wouldn’t connect. Have tried everything including reaching out to support but nothing works. Even keep getting error messages about my phone not being. Injected to wifi when it’s. lol
Why so many presses?
Useful but why does it need to take so many button taps for the action to register.
Hopeless - don’t get this app
I installed this app with a poweretech controller supplied by a company called GateMaster in Christchurch NZ. That was 3 years ago. The app has never worked - can sometimes “find” the gate on the network - but nothing more. The vendor is hopeless - no response in 3 years - and I tried emailing Powertech and never got a response!!! Now about to shell out for an alternative hardware and software !!

Incredibly glitchy
App was fine at first then it increasingly gets worse and more glitchy, won’t even respond to me trying to open and close gate now smh what’s the point of the app if the gate only opens when it feels like working 👎

Why does this app connect to 5ghz wifi when it only works on 2.4ghz I am always opening the motor to reset it. Very frustrating this app needs to be fixed asap.

Buggy and refuses to delete from app after new WiFi
After changing to new WiFi it no longer connects through that, tried to delete the gate from app but no Delete or Edit button. Now fails to connect altogether. Very buggy and limited settings, not recommended to use.
No longer works
Stopped working. The app sees the sliding device but on attempting to remove and add the device again but will not add to account. The Bluetooth icon keeps spinning indefinitely. No error message provided.
Not for a Smart Home
Useless app. Can’t work with Google, can’t work with Alexa, can’t work with Home Assistant. It doesn’t link with anything. Don’t bother with this brand of products if you have a smart home.

I don’t even use the WiFi features, only Bluetooth, and it’s still an awful buggy app

Waste of time
Horrible connection. It will only work when I am standing in my house, which is probably the most useless thing ever. Unless you have a really strong connection to your home wifi (which is not easy when you’re outside of your house) it won’t work at all.

Difficult app to use
Always a nightmare trying to connect a new wifi, looses connection with th the app constantly. Just a very poor app. Should be so much better.
Doesn’t work unless connected to local Wi-fi
I can open or close my gate unless I’m on the same network as the gate controller. Isn’t the whole point of the app that you can control the gate remotely or am I missing something?

Useless App
The remote app always used for when you miles away on the car.
It has not a shortcuts on IPhone and connect to the device very slow ( I already add another WiFi access point near by the device).
I can say it is an outdated app at 2024.

Whilst the app works, integration to Siri would be great so we can open gate by voice
