About

This app is developed for a specific type of user, namely: - People who build robots - Electrical engineers - Makers (ie, people who build devices) The app provides these features: - Ability to pull a stream of jpeg images from a REST endpoint - Ability to send commands to a Rest endpoint from the app UI - Ability to integrate with an mFi certified game controller to control the robot while your phone is in a VR headset - The details about the protocol the app uses to communicate to the robot are here: https://www.eyesbot.com/blog/eyesbot_driver_app/ Please be aware: - The iOS device and the server device stream images and receiving commands must be on the same network. - You may need to turn off cellular data while connected to the server device (so that the iOS device looks for the server device on the local network) - You will need to turn off auto lock and low power mode to prevent locking when using the app in VR mode - If you use a game controller, like with any iOS app, the game controller needs to be mFi certified. Most are not There are risks working with electricity, electronics, robots and associated technologies. The user assumes all risks for use of this app and any associated hardware or software.
