Geniatech’s support is terrible.
I stumbled across the DTV Netstream.
I have a n Eyetv Netstream 2T.
It’s not listed as a compatible device but works fine with the new app

Netstream funktioniert nach update nicht mehr.
Diese Version findet nicht mehr meinen alten Netstream. Downgrade ist nach update nicht möglich. Ich habe das betreffende IPad komplett gelöscht und von einem alten IPad, wo noch die alte Version vorhanden war, die Daten und Apps auf das neue IPad übertragen. Danach war die alte Version vom EyeTv wieder auf dem IPad, die mit meinem alten Netstream funktionierte.

Sadly a great app is now unusable
This was our go-to method of watching TV. On an iPad. Really.
Sadly now it has compulsory audio narrative like the new 64 bit EyeTV app for Mac. Both are completely useless.

Endlich gibt es wieder Updates für die Netstream App. Bitte weiter so! Für das nächsten Update wünsche ich mir die Picture in Picture (PIP) Funktion für die iPhone und iOS 👍🏻
Funktioniert Super
Dem ich mit dem Support geschrieben habe bin ich froh das die App nun super funktioniert. Der Support war sehr hilfreich und nun kann ich die Software ohne Probleme auch auf meinem iMac M1 nutzen. Vielen lieben Dank noch mal für die gute Hilfe.
Super, aber...
software ist gut, funktioniert bei M1 leider nicht im Vollbildmodus. Hab schon versucht über webseite an MAC Sofware zu kommen, ist aber nur für intel chip gedacht. Funktioniert also bis jetzt nur in kleineren Formaten im Vollbildmodus (Iphone und Ipad) Ganze System ist aber sonst echt super!
Broken in iOS 15
Guys, any updates. App can’t see Netstream device on network. It’s been broken since iOS 14 (and we’re now on iOS 15). Common let’s have some updates!
Auch Version 2.90 funktioniert nicht auf dem iPad
Gerät wird von der Software nicht gefunden. EyeTV auf dem Mac funktioniert und verbindet sich mit meinem NetstreamSat. Ich begreife nicht wie man ein Produkt freigeben kann das nicht funktioniert (ich bin ja nicht der einzige der das Problem hat). Wird da nicht getestet?

Doesn’t work with IOS 14.6
This version of the app (2.87) still runs on IPad with IOS 9.3.6 & Iphone with IOS 10.3.4. It does not run on IPad or Iphone with IOS14.6. Support for the App seems non-existent, despite claiming “Fixed known issues” “one month ago” in the App Store download page.
No longer working
After the latest update, the app no longer recognizes my Netstream DTT. If Geniatech’s “support” for their desktop software is anything to go by, I don’t expect a fix in the near future…

Das letzte Update hat anscheinend dafür gesorgt, dass die Verbindung zu meinem sat eye tv netstream unter ios nicht mehr möglich ist. Folgendes habe ich schon probiert: - iPad Pro 12.9 Zoll 4. Gen. neu gestartet - eye tv netstream Gerät neu gestartet - Verbindung zur Fritzbox überprüft (eye tv ist verbunden) - verbindung iPad zur Fritzbox überprüft (funktioniert einwandfrei) - Dann eye tv in der app neu gesucht: ohne Erfolg. Vor dem Update lief alles einwandfrei. - Da scheint bei der Programmierung wohl was schief gelaufen zu sein. - Oder war das Absicht, damit ältere Geräte ersetzt werden müssen?- warten wir mal die Nachbesserung ab. Ich hoffe die kommt sehr bald!

Latest update 2.87 broken on all devices except appletv.

The latest update to 2.90 has completely broken compatibility with my Elgato Netstream. Suggest that you don’t install this until someone else has confirmed that the issue is local to me.
The new version fails to see the netstream on our network whilst EyeTV on the Mac continues to function correctly. Sadly I can’t see a way to revert this change.
Disappointed because this was an app we all used daily. Perhaps someone from Geniatech can get in touch once they’ve fixed this…

Senderverlust
Eigentlich sehr zufrieden mit App und Gerät, auf iPhone läuft alles bestens. Aber dass auf meinem iPad mini 5 laufend die Senderliste wieder verloren geht, das nervt langsam. Man hat ja mehr mit Sendersuchlauf und anschließendem Sortieren der Liste zu tun als mit TV sehen.
Vergisst Senderliste auf iPad Pro
Auf iPad pro vergisst die App alle Sender nach Beenden. Sendersuchlauf dauert sehr lange. Auf iPhone läuft es.

Diese gekaufte App dazu funktioniert über Haupt nichts mehr dazu ist ganz dazu ist und es fehlt extrem Super sehr massiv dazu das ein ganz Brand neues Update dazu ist das von den Pad OS 13 Betriebssystem dazu ist dazu ist um dazu zu sorgen das alle extrem super sehr massiv schwere Fehler beseitigt dazu werden dazu auch ist ! Diese App stürzt immer nur noch ab dazu ist leider dazu ist und dazu auch ich sie bitten muß dazu ist auch diese gekaufte App zu unterstützen dazu ist ganz komplett von der AD Pro Guard dazu ist und aber auch dazu darum geht die Sicherheit dazu erhören dazu auch gedacht dazu ist auch das dazu so ist !

Unfortunately app is now broken, used to work though
Cannot scan for channels, as app always complains that tuner is currently in use by others (even if it definitely isn’t). Unfortunate, because this app used to be so useful.
Does what it promises
This app is fine. It gives you live tv on your IOS device and allows you to record the current program (time shift).
It does not allow you to record from the guide and it does not allow you to delete duplicate channels. There seems to be no use for the two channel tuner on IOS.
It means I can use my old Netstream DTT (which has sat in a cupboard for years) as an IOS TV tuner independently of the Mac.
The Netstream still works on the Mac with the included EyeTV software.
It does not allow you to record from the guide and it does not allow you to delete duplicate channels. There seems to be no use for the two channel tuner on IOS.
It means I can use my old Netstream DTT (which has sat in a cupboard for years) as an IOS TV tuner independently of the Mac.
The Netstream still works on the Mac with the included EyeTV software.
