EZCOMMA is a simple, fun, straightforward reference App for learning or reviewing correct usage of commas and semicolons.
I struggle at times with language usage. On my desk and shelves you'll find all of the major reference books. EZCOMMA is so simple to check my work. If you're a novice this is a great tool to learn how to create interesting sentence structures. I'm keeping a copy of this App on the desk tops of all of my electronic devices.
This is a fine tool. For the price it's worth having around...Just a quick note, because it's free you may not take the time to grasps that it's a tool that teaches something that is confusing to most people in a very simple and effective way. The author offers a complimentary PDF which is very helpful.

Falls short on soooo many levels
I love the examples, but I was waiting to be tested. One rule, one set examples is all I got. I kept wondering, where is the rest? Is that all there is? I would be willing to pay for a test version made for the Ipad, but not the physical book that the author is plugging. In this day and age of mobile computing, the author wants to sell me a book? It won't happen.
Folks, look back at all the 5-star ratings. Do you really believe all those people believe this software deserves 5-star ratings?
To the author, remove the jazzy music. It is sooooo irritating. Great concept, but it falls short on delivering something worthwhile. I am deleting this app when I am done with the review.

I am a high school teacher and my students are always using this app for punctuation help. This app is a great tool for students of all ages.

As a high school student, I often times refer back to this app to help enhance my sentence structure and punctuation. It has helped a bunch, and I am sure will help anyone who uses this app. The app functions well and is easy to use. Highly recommend it! I also have a copy of the EZCOMMA book, "Codes" For Successful Writing. It has contributed to my writing skills in a great way. Highly recommend the book as well!

Keeps crashing
This app seems really cool, the only problem is it keeps crashing on ios8

The visuals are so pleasing! Clear and concise explanations with examples. Where was this when I needed it a few years ago teaching 9th grade English?
Power Teacher
This App was successful because it was directly related with writing in the English classroom that follows the new common core standards. It was user friendly but could have had more examples; however the examples provided were of high and useful quality.

Very "sit and got."- no interaction.
Research indicates that that animation combined with narration is more effective than animation with text. The music is not helpful.
The practice does not require students to apply anything they might have learned.
I will not ask my students to download this app.

ELA High School
EZ Comma is just what it says it is...knowing when and where to place commas with ease. Students can refer to the app or teachers can build lessons with it. Either way, you're bound to see an improvement in your students' writing.
The new EZ Comma is even better. The music is a plus, but it can still be used without sound. And, the quiz at the end can be used as either a post and/or pre-test. I use this app for my high school classes, as well as for my class at a community college. Finally, an EZ way to teach comma usage.

No creativity
Too simple, much boring
Great App
I am a high school teacher with too many students who still have trouble with sentence structure and punctuation. This app has been a useful resource for them. I appreciate how the lessons are organized and the rules are made simple and easy to understand.
Math teacher
My students have difficulty answering & explaining their work when answering word problems. Often they don't write in complete sentences, so this app is a very beneficial reference. I highly recommend it!

This has to be the best utility for learning sentence structure around, whether you're just learning or need improvement, this is definitely the app to get.

My name is Vinny and I'm a high school student; the app has shown to be of valuable importance in the fundamentals of learning the English language since I'm from another country (Brazil).
My older brother never had the chance to go to a American high school, so he had to pay hundreds of dollars to learn English which did not work that well. Since we both started using this app, our English language skills have improved dramatically. I would rate it five stars since you can use it from an early age all the way up to college.

This is an amazing technique when learning how to combine sentences and have correct punctuation. Ezcomma helps you understand exactly why certain punctuation is placed where it is and it provides you with great examples! This app has helped me quickly learn how to write complex, simple, and compound sentences and I look forward to learning more!
