Smart Plug For car par lights
I use 2 of outlet devices to control my carpark lights at a school. The downside is there’s a pug top that’s potentially live, but this is made safe in a container, as it’s technically the override, but when I have hirings on or school trips that leave in the middle of the night I can set the lights remotely and they do their thing….perfect for what I need!

Let’s start by saying, even the support link in the iOS app page doesn’t work. That should have been my first warning sign besides all the bad reviews.
Pairing didn’t work in the app at all. I had to pair from the website.
When I eventually did get it paired the app icons at the top are cut off and you can’t actually click them. So exiting from a window and going into settings are nearly impossible because of how they have designed the app.
There doesn’t seem to be another way to tell the company because the support link is broken so all together this is a poorly supported system.
Two stars only because it does seem to be working but I just can’t interface with it without the website.

crashes every time, can’t open the app
Every time I open the app, it crashes. Reinstalling doesn’t fix it.

No longer works
This app started out crappy and has only gotten worse. Why bother to even offer it?
1. IPswitch disappears from the app without notice and for no apparent reason (turns grey) while browser shows it as Online.
2. No longer works at all with my iPad Mini4 insisting on iOS16
Megatec should pull the app and fire whoever has been in charge of it.

app crashes, logs you out
I can’t open the app, it auto closes.
Login problems still not fixed with today’s update
Hard to understand why developers can’t fix the problem of needing a password every time this app is opened. It’s been in the reviews forever. Can’t they interface with facial recognition like most other apps do these days?
All devices are showing “No longer associated”
Why are all of my devices showing “ No longer associated”?
Needs iOS 16.1
Won’t work on iPhone7. Used to. Now the old app won’t work it requires you to update the app. But iPhone 7 does not work on iOS 16.1. EZ device….deleted.
Completely unreliable
As others have said, my UIS devices sometimes go Offline without notice. They appear, then they “go grey”. Logging in to the device with a browser shows all is OK except “Cloud Status Enabled (Offline)” and no amount to Disable/Enable gets it back. App is an aggravating waste of time.
Won’t save password
Not usable currently as I have to manually enter a password each time.
Needs A LOT of work
I had a similar issue as another reviewer. Spent hours trying to get the cloud connection working and it turns out it was on the backend where the problem was.
My biggest issue is I have to login every time I open the app. The password manager doesn't recognize it either because there is no website associated.

Feb 2023 update is not good
Latest update eliminated saved password so you have to keep the password with you somehow. Please fix this!!!!
New Upgrade Issues?
Just downloaded new version and the “device is not in sync”.
Easy to use
I have one of their smart plug sockets, and this app is very easy to use to turn the socket on and off.
Device works; app doesn’t
I spent over an hour troubleshooting the power switch device because the app said it wasn’t online. I added the switch to my account, but app says “device has not sync up.” [sic] After trying four different ways to connect the device to the Internet, I boxed it up for return, and did some work. Then I thought to try a desktop browser and the device showed up and was easily controllable. Device is great; app is complete garbage. Just use Mobile Safari instead.

Unstable
This app is not backwards compatible with ezOutlet devices. Whoever decided to update the ezOutlets with a version 2 and not provide a single app to mange both ezOutlets and ezOutlet2’s has poor judgment... not to mention unlike its predecessor the ezOutlet app, this ezDevice app is unstable and crashes constantly. I am more than disappointed....
