What's new in 2.1.16: NEW: Allocate receipts to jobs — when scanning a receipt, you can now link it to a specific invoice for accurate per-job costing. General expenses (like fuel) can stay unallocated. NEW: Job costs on invoice detail — see exactly which receipts are allocated to each job, with a running cost total and real profit calculation. NEW: Add Costs button — when a job has no receipt costs yet, a dashed \"Add receipt costs\" button appears on both the invoice and stats screens, taking you straight to the receipts tab. CHANGED: Costs now come from receipts, not estimates — the Statistics page shows actual receipt costs instead of wholesale cost estimates. Profit shows as \"Est. Profit\" until receipts are allocated, then becomes \"Profit\". CHANGED: Labour is now treated as profit — for sole traders, your own labour is what you charge for your time, not a cost. If you use a subbie, their cost comes from an allocated receipt. REMOVED: \"Tax deductible\" toggle on receipts — all receipts are now treated as costs automatically. The separate \"Tax Deductible Expenses\" card on the Statistics page has been replaced with a unified \"Receipt Costs\" summary. UPDATED: Financial report PDF and tax CSV exports reflect the new cost model — job costs are based on allocated receipts, with a \"Job\" column in the receipts detail table.
