ezKYC

ezKYC is a dedicated identity verification app that reads IC chip data from official Japanese ID documents via NFC, developed in compliance with Japan's Mobile Phone Improper Use Prevention Act. The app is accessible exclusively through a deep link issued by an authorized dealer and cannot be launched standalone from the App Store. ■ Supported Documents • My Number Card (マイナンバーカード) • Residence Card (在留カード) ■ Key Features • NFC IC Chip Reading: Reads identity data from IC chip-embedded documents on iPhone 7 or later. • Camera Capture: Captures the back side of the Residence Card and a selfie to complete the verification process. • Secure Transmission: All acquired data is transmitted via TLS encryption and no personal information is stored on the device. ■ Data Handling All data is handled in accordance with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI). Location data is not collected.
