eZwayZ "easy ways"

EZWAYZ NAVIGATION MAKES BUILDINGS ACCESSIBLE TO EVERYONE eZwayZ (pronounced easy ways) is an inclusive indoor navigation app that enables independent indoor navigation for people with a visual impairment. It is an inclusive app developed together with people who have a visual impairment and can be used by everyone. REGISTER LOCATIONS At the moment, you can test the app at, among others, the following locations in the Netherlands. Check the app for the complete and most up-to-date overview: Atrium Bartiméus in Zeist, Plein1 Heemstede, NEMO Science Museum Amsterdam, Mediamuseum Hilversum, Rijksmuseum Amsterdam and the train stations Arnhem, Zwolle and Den Bosch. FOLLOW THE VIBE The app guides you to your destination with a combination of visual route display, audio and haptic signals (vibrates and makes a sound when you are going in the right direction), and spoken route instructions. You can choose the combination that best suits your own abilities. You can use the app to determine your location, plan your route and explore your surroundings: what is in my immediate vicinity? IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION BEFORE USING THE APP Please note: this app is still in a testing phase. People who are blind may use the app ONLY UNDER SUPERVISION. Please read the quick-start or manual carefully before using the app. The quick-start starts automatically when you install the app for the first time. You can find the manual in the app’s settings. The app is NOT A SUBSTITUTE for your orientation and mobility skills, but is intended as an additional tool. It is not a replacement for, for example, a white cane, guide dog or other primary mobility aid. For your personal safety it is important to remain aware of your surroundings at all times while using the app. You can of course also go out together with someone, which might even make it more fun! By using the app, you agree that the use of the eZwayZ app is at your own risk. SUITABLE IPHONE WITH INTERNET CONNECTION We recommend at least an iPhone 8 or newer for the app to work properly. The app requires an internet connection, so make sure you are connected to a Wi-Fi network or turn on your mobile internet.
