Bring friends together at a house party, team gathering or game night. F2F games (Face-to-Face games) turns the host's phone into a shared game table. One host buys and installs the app; friends connect to the same Wi-Fi or hotspot and scan a QR code to join in their browsers. Guests do not need to buy or install an app.
Make time to play together
• Friends and family: enjoy a two-player board game or gather a group for cards.
• Team-building activities: get people talking, guessing and voting with Who’s Undercover?
• House parties and celebrations: everyone uses their own device to see their private cards or role while playing together in person.
Six games for your gathering
• Chinese Chess (Xiangqi), Chess and Gomoku (Five in a Row): two-player games with rule validation, takeback requests and resignation.
• Dou Dizhu: 3–6 players. Roles are assigned by the first big joker dealt, with a rotating seat fallback. Start the team card game as soon as cards are dealt. Winners add one to their win counts; losing deducts nothing.
• Three-Card Match: 3–30 players. Receive three private cards and confirm when ready. Once all participants agree, reveal the hands together and compare their ranks. The best hand wins the round.
• Who’s Undercover? — 3–30 players with private words, generated nicknames, speaking turns and voting.
A one-time paid download with no subscriptions, in-app purchases or ads. The host buys the app; browser guests join without buying a client app. Dou Dizhu records team wins; Three-Card Match displays each round’s result.
Switch between Chinese and English. Offline voice announcements follow the Chinese or English language selected on each device. Adjust sound, volume and animations on each device. Players see their own cards or secret words.
What you need
F2F games is for people playing together in person. At least two devices are needed. There is no single-player AI or Internet matchmaking. Keep the host app in the foreground and use a shared local network that allows devices to communicate. Enable iPhone Personal Hotspot in system settings. Hotel, workplace, campus or guest Wi-Fi with client isolation can prevent joining, even when everyone uses the same Wi-Fi. The app cannot disable router isolation. The recommended alternative is to use the host phone’s hotspot: connect everyone to it, create a new room and scan its new QR code. Hotspot availability and capacity depend on the phone and carrier. Practical connected-player capacity depends on the network and host device.
Privacy information and local record controls are available in Lobby settings.
