Used this to study in converting my Canadian helicopter ATP over to FAA. Large question bank that was pretty much word for word with what I got on the actual 40 question exam.

Great app...
If you like paying a small fortune (audio is an additional ~$20 in-app charge) for an app that takes 3-5 minutes from selection before it’s ready to use. And that’s without checking for updates.
Helps a lot with the test
I have tried to use other applications to help me study for various FAA tests but they would have outdated questions or it would only be a final test and not help with the preparation of the test. I believe that the work that was put into this app but all the other apps that they have made is extremely well thought out and done in a fashion that makes it easy for the user to customize what they need to study for and what they are having trouble remember for the test. They also have amazing customer support for any questions that you have or any problems you have with the app. I would recommend this app to anyone who wants to study for an FAA test and be able to study anywhere at anytime.

Excellent app and customer service!
I just passed my helicopter ATP checkride on June 1, 2020! This app was my only written study guide. Full disclosure, my helicopter ATP ride was an add-on rating, so my written was only 50 questions. This app, however, prepared me for exactly what I needed, as it can be tailored to your testing requirements. I scored a 92% on my written, where I missed two questions that were absolute bonehead mistakes on my part. There were two additional questions I missed where I answered them correctly per the app prep, but graded incorrectly by the FAA. I contacted Dauntless customer support about those two questions (and others throughout my studying), and Dauntless always responded to every inquiry. They were grateful for my grading input and said they’d revise those answers in the app. Top notch! You won’t be disappointed!

ATP the best ever!!
I’ve been flying commercially for many years , and now I’m preparing myself to get my FAA license and I am using this app to study.

Excellent app, routinely updated, and top notch support
I’ve been flying commercially for many years, and a few years ago thought I could find the time to complete my ATP license. Although I never completed initially, the study material provided by Dauntless was all I needed to pass the test. Years later I plan to finally complete my ATP, and the Dauntless content is all updated, current, and I expect will be all I need again to complete the written.... now to make sure I can get the flight portion complete this time!

Происходит какая-то ерунда. При покупке списываются с карты деньги и закачки не происходит. Разработчик оборзел! При попытке повторной закачки появляется сообщение, что эта программа уже была куплена и закачка будет производится бесплатно. И никакой закачки не происходит!!!

Latest update not working
I've loved this software up until the latest update. The text is blank when I start the learning portion. I am starting ground school for an airline soon and would like to refresh my memory. Please fix!
Recent ATP most questions not on exam
I had bought the complete package from Dauntless and spent the last 6 months studying! Less than a dozen questions were on my ATP exam that I saw in the software!

Works like a Champ!
This Dauntless ATP prep app is Fantastic! I used it for 3 straight days in preparing for my ATP written and I scored an 85 with no issues. The app does a great job of breaking down each subject and allowing you to concentrate on a specific area for your question bank studies. The "flash card" option worked great for me and also offers an explanation tab that references the official answers from the source. I highly recommend this app, especially for those that love the convenience of having the entire ATP question bank right on your phone - Enjoy!

Worked for me - but YMMV...
After buying 3 different iOS apps for the ATP (plus buying the King DVD’s), I found that the Dauntless version was the best to use (I bought the Prepware, Sheppard and Dauntless). Studied like crazy for a month (I did not have any other pilot certification but wanted to make it in before the Aug, 1st 2014 deadline). I thought I was well prepared as I consistently got over 85% on every sample test in the iOS app. Test day in July 2014 and I did not recognize a lot of the questions but the Dauntless app did allow me to pass with a 73%. It isn’t ideal but a pass is a pass and I’m a happy camper.
I have 3 other friends that I recommended this app. 1 passed and 2 others failed. ALL 3 reported that they did not recognize a lot of the questions so it seems the FAA had new questions that weren’t in this app.
Since the FAA will be changing the ATP exam as well as the structure of the qualifications after 8/1/14, be aware that this (and all other preparation companies) will probably have to play catch up.
In all after spending over a thousand dollars in pilot study apps, I feel the Dauntless programs are the best in how they operate and in the amount of customization of how the material is presented to the user. I highly recommend all to buy BOTH the Dauntless app for pure memorization as well as the King videos to help explain what you are memorizing.

Great app that does a thorough job preparing you for the ATP written!
Great app but will reset without warning
I would rate this 5* except that in the middle of a quiz of 201 questions (Flight Planning) the app will reset and I will lose all of my answers. For some of the shorter quizzes this would be acceptable but this study group can take several hours to finish if you work all of the problems.
After finishing a subject it is also inconvenient to have to restart the entire area again.
