Supplemental!!

App is poorly designed, difficult to navigate but I believe it has everything you need as a study guide. If you can find each answer in the CT-8080-8 then you should be ready to take the test. Also be sure to read the IA start up guide the faa provides. Someone should make a better version of this app.

An ok app

Was disappointed at the end of taking a practice test to see that I was not able to go back and review my incorrect answers. Other than that, it’s decent.

Hardly test prep.

Look at the A&P test prep apps and copy them please. Multiple question have text cut off and the nature of this test makes that a big deal. You cannot go back and change answers like you can on the actual test and it doesn’t allow you to review a graded test to see you weak areas. Fix these things please.

Money Return Please

Hello, I just downloaded this app about 10 minutes ago. It offers nothing of an explanation for any of this. No formulas for solving things. Please refund my money as I paid $10 for this app and it is essentially useless. Thank you.

This app is designed to review the questions with the correct answers to pass your test and get 100%. This is not designed to replaced years of experience. If you are planning to take the exam with the FAA but don't truly understand what you are reading its best you don't get hired fixing aircraft as real lives are at stake. As for the price, its a fraction of what others cost and you can still get 100% with it.

Great idea, needs work

I’ve found many questions where half the question is cut off, how am I supposed to know what to answer if I don’t even have all of the question?

Also, it would be really nice if you attached the TCDS or chart or other reference associated with the question.

And lastly, an explanation or reference to why the answer is the correct answer would also help a lot.

Just what I needed

I originally obtained my IA in 2000 and let it expire in 2016 due to job loss. For all you complaining don’t use the app and pull your school knowledge. This is exactly what you need to pass the test. 3/4 of the info you may not use but study it. Been in the field 20+ years.
Thank you developers for making the study easier then 19 years ago without Electronic means. Looking forward to re-testing soon with the help of this app!!
New guys study this pass the test and gain the experience in the field! Best 10 bucks you could spend on a career advancement.🛩

Supplemental materials required

If this is a study software there is no information as to how the answer was obtained.. hard to become a better mechanic if your just learning wrote memorization.

Thank you for your feedback Wrknprgrs. Our goal is to provide you with the question and answer bank so that you can pass your FAA written test with the highest possible score. This is not a course on how to become a better mechanic.

No test supplements

Questions often require access to supplemental materials to answer. These are not available. There is an icon which i assume would be for doing this, but it is always greyed out. Back to my hard copy, I guess......?

The questions from the IA exam is will refer you to excerpts of selected advisory circulars, airworthiness directives, Code of Federal Regulations, type certificate data sheets, aircraft specifications, FAA orders, and forms. Since these documents are provided for free in PDF format from the FAA, they are not included to keep the app’s file size as small as possible. The Computer Testing Supplement for Inspection Authorization is available at https://www.faa.gov/training_testing/testing/supplements/media/FAA-CT-8080-8D.pdf.

Question have incorrect answers as correct

I found at least 3 questions that you have selected as the correct answer but are not really correct.
