What's New in v1.10.1: A round of fixes for CarPlay, the sleep timer, the player, and your Reading List. New: • CarPlay has a Downloaded tab, putting your offline books one tap away with no connection at all Improved: • Recaps now open with where things stand, followed by a clear timeline of what happened • Recaps draw on the minutes leading up to your recap window, so the setup makes sense • Tapping a Reading List book opens its page instead of starting playback • Books you don't own yet show their release date on the Reading List • The end-of-book prompt names what each button does instead of repeating the title • The app does less work at launch, starting the speech engine only when a recap needs it Fixed: • Shake to keep listening now works when the sleep timer ends, in any orientation, and even after you've closed the player • The "Sleep Timer Ended" prompt clears whenever you resume, instead of lingering over audio that's already playing • Reconnecting Bluetooth headphones resumes where you stopped instead of skipping ahead • The player no longer flickers between play and pause at the end of a book • A session refresh mid-book resumes at your place instead of restarting from the beginning • Opening the chapter list scrolls straight to the chapter you're in • Recaps work on books with violent or intense scenes instead of failing every time • Books you already own are matched to your Reading List even when the title or ASIN is written differently • Finishing a book removes it from your Reading List • CarPlay shows your books when the server can't be reached, instead of coming up empty • Starting a book from CarPlay picks up where you left off instead of at the beginning • Your progress is saved when you start a book from CarPlay, so a whole drive no longer goes unrecorded • Cover art appears in CarPlay, including when you're offline • New-book alerts no longer go missing when you follow more than a few series
