Good But Not Great/Overpriced

If it was $7.99 or$10 a month, maybe, but not enough content to justify $17.50 or $25 a month. A basic Netflix or Fox Nation subscription isn’t this much. I do love Schellea’s videos and will still watch them on You Tube.

Thank you for your honesty, I really appreciate you sharing this. I completely understand your concern around pricing. It’s important that the app feels like clear value, not something you have to question. We are listening closely to this feedback and reviewing how we can better align the experience with what users expect. The intention behind the app is to offer more than individual workouts, it’s designed to give structure, progression, and a clear path forward, especially for midlife women who want guidance without having to piece everything together themselves. But I hear you, and we need to make that value much more obvious and tangible. We’re currently making improvements to the overall experience, including how content is presented and how easy it is to use. Thank you again for your support on YouTube and for taking the time to share this. It genuinely helps us improve. And if you ever feel the app has evolved to better meet your expectations, you’re always welcome to revisit and share your experience again. - Schellea

Exactly what I needed!

This has been just perfect for me! I love that everyone is quietly encouraged to see what their bodies can do and never shamed or pushed. It feels so safe here!

Disappointed

I had high hopes for this app, considering the previous reviews and the advertising for it. Unfortunately, I find it very disappointing and far overpriced for what you receive. The app is glitchy. On the third day I tried to use the workouts. The one I was doing kept resetting itself after the warm-up it would go through the warm-up and then glitch and start over it. Did this multiple times until I gave up on that . I tried streaming it, but when streaming it seemed to stutter of it, I don’t have that trouble with other streaming apps so I have to think it might be something with this particular app since it happened on multiple . I was hoping that being paid out the instructions would be better than the free ones on YouTube. Unfortunately, the instructions still lack necessary cues. I find this, particularly when doing moves that you would not be looking at the Such as stretching activities there’s no queue to stand back up or whatever the motion might be so you have to constantly twist your neck to look at the screen and see what the instructor is .
doing. I also have not seen anything at the beginning of the apps are on the information screens that tell you what props or weights you might need for that particular workout it just jumps right in presuming you have an array of weights and other things handy before doing your workout. I would like to know in advance which ones I need to have set out in my workout space . There are a lot of recipes and some games, but I find so much of this content is available free in other places. In fact, several of the workouts are the identical ones that are done on YouTube they even YouTube graphics on the bottom

Thank you so much for your honest feedback. I understand why you felt disappointed, and I’m really sorry that your experience didn’t match your expectations. That’s never what I want for you. You’ve raised some very important points, especially around the glitches, the lack of cues, and not knowing what equipment is needed beforehand. We are actively working on all of this right now. We’ve listened closely to feedback like yours and are restructuring the app to make it much easier to navigate, with clearer guidance and a more seamless workout experience. I also completely understand your comment about the content. If it feels like “just YouTube,” then we haven’t done a good enough job showing you the true value of the app. The intention is very different. The app is designed specifically for midlife women, with structured programs and challenges that guide you step by step, rather than leaving you to piece workouts together on your own. Most of the challenges, including Pilates, yoga, face yoga, chair workouts, and all of the strength and conditioning challenges, are exclusive to the app, and we are continuing to expand this. We’re also taking on board the feedback around pricing and making sure the value truly matches the experience. I genuinely appreciate you taking the time to share this. It helps us improve, and we are committed to making this a space that truly supports you. If you’re open to it, I would love for you to revisit the app as these updates roll out. And if your experience improves, you’re always welcome to update your review. That would mean a lot, not just to me, but to other women trying to decide if this is right for them. Thank you again for being honest and helping us do better. - Schellea

Amazing

This app is so comprehensive and instructive! Love it! I was hoping for more vegan or whole food plant based options. Maybe that comes with the paid upgrade?

UPDATE: After the 7 day trial plan, my question about food has been unanswered. The app is a little pricy considering you can go get all it offers (all be it separately) for free elsewhere. The workout videos just start, no real intro like in her YouTube videos so you have a few seconds to prepare. It’s boom workout now. Better have all your equipment ready to go immediately.
The meditations are all a bit different and usually last 10 to 15 minutes. They are relaxing and only somewhat structured.
I would buy the app if it was a little less expensive and had more vegan options. Say, $15 to $20/ month or $150 to $175 a year. Otherwise I’ll stick with her excellent YouTube videos, use Headspace for meditation, and Well Your World for WFPB recipes. Best wishes for continued success to Schellea!

Hi Kimber, Thank you so much for your kind words to begin with, it really means a lot. And I also truly appreciate your honest update. You’ve raised some very important points. The lack of preparation time at the beginning of workouts and not knowing what equipment is needed beforehand is something we are actively improving. We are working on clearer guidance so you can feel ready and supported before each session begins. Regarding food options, at the moment we have one meal plan with a large recipe library, but expanding meal plans, including more plant-based options, is already on our roadmap. I also completely understand your thoughts around pricing. If it feels like you can piece things together elsewhere, then we haven’t done a good enough job showing you the full value of what the app offers. The intention is to provide a structured, guided path designed specifically for midlife women, rather than separate pieces you have to organise yourself. That said, we are listening closely and reviewing this. Thank you again for your honesty and support. If you’re open to revisiting the app as these improvements roll out, I would love to hear your thoughts again. And if your experience changes, you’re always welcome to update your review. - Schellea

I used VitaliT consistently for some weeks now, and I’m loving it. The workouts are really doable, the meal plans are easy to follow, and the meditations help me reset after a busy day. It’s one of the few apps that feels genuinely supportive for women like me. I’m happy to be using it again! Thanks to Schellea, I have been following her for a while now and she’s amazing always.
