Use the app to analyze emotions in photos, compare several images, recognize saved faces, and get live selfie guidance from the camera. You can also add professional labels such as name, date, location, event, number, and detected emotion directly to your photos. How It Works: Face Emotion AI combines several on-device technologies to understand faces and expressions directly on your iPhone. The app uses: FaceNet to create face embeddings and match saved people across photos A Core ML emotion classification model to estimate visible facial expressions Apple Vision to detect faces and locate facial regions in images Core ML to run machine learning models locally on the device These technologies work together to detect faces, estimate expressions, compare photos, recognize saved faces, and provide live selfie guidance. What the App Can Do: For photo analysis, Face Emotion AI detects visible faces, analyzes their expressions, and shows an estimated emotion with a confidence score. For photo comparison, the app can follow the same face across multiple photos and help identify stronger shots based on the detected expressions. With Known People, you can save a name with a reference face. FaceNet embeddings are then used to help recognize that person in future photos. The Live Selfie Coach analyzes the camera feed in real time and provides simple visual and voice guidance to help you improve framing and expression. The Add Label to Image feature lets you place details such as name, date, time, location, event, number, and detected emotion directly on a photo, then save or share a new labeled copy. All supported AI analysis is performed locally on the device.
