Nonfunctional.
I purchased the app to help with my severe trichotillomania. Unfortunately, the app does not function in its current state. It does track how often you raise your hand, but it does NOT vibrate, even when silent is turned off and haptics are set to Prominent. The haptics DO work, however, when changing the sensitivity in-app. I know other reviewers complained about the sensitivity being too finicky, but even at max sensitivity it only logs my face/head touches about half the time (including just planting my palm directly on my face). What’s the point then? Seeing a little number at the end of a serious mindless pull session won’t help me stop.

Good, but vibrates all the time
This app is very helpful in reminding you gently with a vibration that you’re touching your face, however, the slightest motion sets it off so my watch is buzzing all day long. I’ve become used to the vibrating so I don’t notice it as much, especially when I need it the most to remind me to put my hand down. It gets the job done, maybe a little too well… May need some slight improvements to be a little more accurate, but I get it’s impossible to create an app that is right 100% of the time. In all, a good app that works. Try it out!

Buggy
This app has so much potential but is super buggy and just not easy to use for me personally.
Mostly OK
Updated review 9/28/21.
The app has disappeared from my watch. Support is nonexistent. DO NOT PURCHASE. I will update this review if support decides to fix this issue.
It’s a great idea. I was looking at a separate device that could do this and then I thought, hmm I bet my Apple Watch should be able to do the same thing. After a little research I found this app. The good news is that it mostly does as promised. I feel like 8 times out of 10 it will recognize that I’ve lifted my hand to touch my face. It doesn’t look like much. It kind of reminds me of the first app a college kid might have put together after finishing a programming course. You can turn it on or off and you can adjust the sensitivity, I think that’s it. You can’t schedule it to turn on and off at different times of day. There’s no app on the phone to adjust anything or to see if you’re getting better over time, you can’t do much to adjust the types of notifications it gives, etc. I don’t think there has been anything in the way of updates. With some polish and improvements it could be a 5 star app. Developers, keep working on this 👍
