Down for good?
Face26 has been down for days, and support is not answering email. It appears they have gone out of business.

Fails to complete any changes
Tends to get to 100% and freezes without changing the picture.
Several features show βsomething went wrongβ at the bottom. Not been able to convert a picture yet, was a waste of a subscription

Leaves watermark
I paid for a yearly subscription and it adds a watermark after retouching the photo. Whatβs the point of having this app? A disappointment.
Very impressed so far
I thought I would give this a try on some old pics from over 40 years ago that were yellowing and a bit blurry and was stunned at what just a L1 optimization and L1 color did with the pics to clean them up. I am delighted so far and hope to share the cleaned up pics with some old friends who are in them as we all have changed a lot in over 40 years but the pics bring back memories like it was yesterday. I will have to dig out more and save them from the effects of time before they are lost forever.

Works great except for logo all pictures
Creates perfect photos except you it your logo all over the photo I pay for this that shouldnβt be there thatβs a shame I will cancel

What Happened
I tried the app in March 2025 and it was working well. I was offered complimentary credits to try it by Tom. It was what I needed and works well within its limitations so I took a year subscription. Everything was fine until 2 weeks ago when I started it and was asked to pay. I ignored it and when I tried using the pro features I couldnβt. Also when I downloaded a photo the watermark remained. I sent a photo of my payment receipt and a screenshot of the pay screen to support but didnβt hear back which I found unusual. I tried 4 times to get a response, even sending from my work email with read receipt. Nothing. Ghosted. Not sure what happened but until this is resolved I wouldnβt get it. You may not get any support. Sad it came to this.

Waste of money
Bought subscription for a month, it didnβt work for me. I only got access to a simple and basic features and then pictures were full of tags. Donβt waste your money and time.

No free try out
I meant to try this app, but it didnβt let me unless I provide all my info and choose a paid test. So no Iβll delete the thing.

First usage good
Iβve only started using this product but so far Iβm kind of impressed with its quality. I tried a couple other ones and they didnβt seem to do the right effect on improving imagery. Iβm hoping for the best with this one it looks good to start.
Nice Coloring!
Although Iβm sure it will only get better as AI improves, the colorization for this app is quite nice. I have used several other apps that provide terrible wide swipes at recoloring photos, usually doing well with either skin color or clothing color but never both. This app seems to be doing quite a good job at both of these areas and I must say that I am impressed. Iβll be giving this multiple tries to see what it can do!
