Great concept
This a great app for moving money and securing your transactions.
Facecash fan!
I love this app! When it comes to transferring money, this is so much better than writing/mailing/depositing checks. So far I mostly use it for cash transfers--can't wait for more merchants to catch on in my area!
Why?
How come it's a barcode? Barcodes are extremely hackable. What are the security precautions? Why are there no merchants in San Diego?

I'm not sure what the reviewer who said that this app isn't for loyalty cards was talking about, but I've got all of mine in here. It's a lot more convenient than carrying the 2" stack of plastic around, and paying is fast, too.

I tried this app bc it's 2011, and cash and credit cards are an archaic pain.
Super easy to use! It works similar to using Groupons from your phone. The merchant scans phone, and voila, you're done.
I hope more merchants begin to use, and more of them give great deals to Facecash users.
The local FC merchant finder is great - a lot like Yelp, Loopt, and Google Maps Nearby!
Can't wait to see this go nationwide!

Not really for Loyalty Cards
This app is mainly for payment cards. It is a disappointment as a replacement for loyalty cards because it only stores the card number and not the barcode - and then only for merchants who have signed up to be included in the FaceCash database.
