A live video call runs for the length of the match, so you are not playing an account — you are playing a person. Whether a person or the Facegammon AI sits opposite, the ladder, the level gate and the price of the seat are identical — so your coins mean the same thing wherever you spend them. MATCHED IN SECONDS Queue at your stake and the lobby seats you against whoever is waiting. Nobody about? The AI takes the chair at the same price, and the table pays out your win. THE FULL RULES Hitting, the bar, bearing off, gammons, backgammons and the doubling cube — all of it, on a turn clock, with a pot that grows every time somebody reaches for the cube. A RATING THAT FOLLOWS YOU Every account opens at 1500 and moves with each result. Climb the global leaderboard, enter tournaments, and unlock board skins as you go. ABOUT VIDEO Video is between the two of you. It runs on Facegammon's own server rather than a third party's, it is never recorded or stored, and it exists only for the length of the match. It is off until you switch it on, the switch lives on the home screen, and it applies only to matches against a person — the AI has no face to show you. Coins are play money. They buy seats at tables and cosmetic board skins. They cannot be cashed out, transferred, or exchanged for anything of real value.
