The app is great but…
I am using on iPhone 16 Pro Max - Screen recording and using this app while playing pokemon Go although these issues do still happen while not screen recording and just playing. I have also now noticed that when you swipe the camera bubble to the side so it sits on stand by it does the same thing. When bringing swiping the camera bubble back out the camera is black and I am forced to close the app and reopen to get working again.

The app is really great, super simple and easy to use. Looks really good and the way it adds the face cam to the screen looks really good. The only issue is the camera freezes and then the only way you can get it working again is by closing the app and reopening. I also noticed that when you’re using it, if you swipe down to reveal your notifications or to access the control centre it freezes the app and then you’re forced to close and reopen to get the camera feed working again. A bit frustrating as I am using it to play games and capture my live reaction to the game. So when it freezes if you don’t pay attention you will lose the live reaction to what ever it is you’re screen recording. I think this can be fixed with an update so fingers crossed this is sorted soon. Especially when paying 10 dollars for an app for this to happen so often.

Best one of these I’ve found
There’s a minor bug (with my camera anyway, Opal C1) where choosing Stop FaceScreen and then Start FaceScreen re-starts the camera with a frozen image. Quitting and re-opening the app works every time, so it’s not a big deal, just a polish thing.
