User reviews

The ultimate app for camera overlay

I truly love the opacity change on hover and text under the overlay. Besides this, the app provides so many knobs to get the configuration exactly the way you want.

Response from developer

Thanks Pitankar for the review and also for sponsoring one of the new features. It's because of people like you the app gets better each day and everyone gets to use the new additions to the app for free.

Works well with ScreenFloat

Slid the application to my Dock for launching, plus activating in Menubar, works well with ScreenFloat for capturing video of webpage. Works well for my needs, now I can produce professional demos. Price was awesome, works well with my webcam.

Thanks very much for taking the time to write a review. Quite appreciate it. You may want to check out my other apps —KeyScreen and Presentify. Best, Ram

Best one of these I’ve found

There are many of these in the app store, but you can’t beat the simplicity of this one, and I like how customizable the floating window is.

There’s a minor bug (with my camera anyway, Opal C1) where choosing Stop FaceScreen and then Start FaceScreen re-starts the camera with a frozen image. Quitting and re-opening the app works every time, so it’s not a big deal, just a polish thing.

Response from developer

Thanks for your review and sorry to hear about the issue with your specific camera. We haven’t faced this issue with other cameras yet so it will be hard to debug this. Are you seeing this issue only with this particular camera or other cameras too? Best, Ram
