EVERYTHING custom = paid, deleting if I find new app
I loved this app before they started tightening the reigns on what is free and what is paid. I feel like I can’t do ANYTHING on this app anymore without paying into it besides reading random facts. And some facts are even advertisements. It doesn’t even let me have a basic, plain background without paying for premium. It’s sad how much it’s changed so quickly. I assume it’s because the app got popular or something over the last few months. Totally sucks and I hate using the app with only chaotic, busy backgrounds that are available to free users.

Gets repetitive fast
Really fun app to begin with and the facts are interesting too, however, they begin repeating very quickly and now I get the same handful of facts on my screen regularly. If you fixed this, I would definitely consider giving 5 Stars :)

Just Ads Now
This was a neat app until recently. Now, the “fun facts” are just ads for other companies and apps. Majorly disappointing. Don’t download this.

I actually really love this app and I have learned a lot!
An app that doesn’t app correctly
An app called facts that really does far more trivia questions with the answer right there. The facts are dumb and sometimes very loosely based on being a fact def has some lean towards opinionated fact. And for being a few short words to type out someone doesn’t know how to proofread. The amount of mistakes is incredible. I refuse to even make an account let alone pay a dime towards this app. Find something else or even better ask one of the many AI’s for a daily fact you might get more knowledge.

Sexual content inappropriate
In less than 48 hrs the content sent to me was sexual in nature so I can’t even share with my family. Filter this content or allow the user to.
New format??
It’s super annoying that quite a few facts are now being presented like Jeopardy questions…It’s dumb. Just state the fact, which is usually pretty darn interesting
The facts are WRONG.
Some of the facts that pop up feel like those “7 foods that your doctor doesn’t want you to know about!” Where it claims horribly misconstrued myths and science pulled out of context.
One I just saw was “Eating bananas can help fight depression”
I tapped on the “source” and the page said NOTHING of the sort. It only spoke about the importance of meditation, laughter, a sense of purpose, etc. Not even a single mention of “banana”.
So I actually looked into it: Bananas contain tryptophan and vitamin B-6 used for making serotonin, and also contains small amounts of serotonin itself, BUT none of it crosses the blood-brain barrier, and research has shown limited/inconclusive evidence.
And this is just ONE of many “facts” I looked further into.
So… why do I even own this app if it’s telling me “facts” that have no source, and no confirmed evidence that it’s true?
It breaks my heart that so many people are giving this app a high review. Some of these “facts” are incorrect HEALTH facts. You’re actively hurting people into believing misinformation.

Widget use
I got this app mainly for a widget on my screen so I could read a couple new facts a day, but it only took 3 days until the facts started repeating :(
I’ve had it about a month now and I will say it gives me some new facts but not as much as I would like.

Font Options.
I really like the app, I just wish there could be an option for me to pick what the font of the texts would be, considering the current font is quite hard for me read or pay proper attention.
However, besides my desire of being able to pick a font preference, the app is overall good and I’d highly recommend it.
Maybe I’ve got a bad eye and haven’t noticed the section to pick a font preference, but if anyone knows where is it, I would really appreciate it.
And if the owner sees this, I sincerely ask of you to create a section where an individual can have the option to pick their own preferred font.

Gives False Facts
Some of the facts are, in fact, not true. There is no way to report these to the developers. While I thoroughly enjoy the app, if I can’t trust the information it makes the app rather pointless.
