DARK MODE (BETA) Factsplat now has a dark theme. It is off by default, so turn it on yourself in the appearance setting. It carries a Beta badge while we work through contrast across every droplet type, and there is a feedback link right next to it. EVENTS A new Event droplet with time, place and RSVP, plus a public event page you can share. Guests can RSVP without an account, bring a +1, and add the event to their calendar. RSVPs update live for everyone with the splat open. Creating events is Supporter tier for this launch; anyone can open an event page and reply. BETTER SEARCH Filter your results by who has access, by public or private, and by favourites, then sort them. Chat box messages now turn up in search as their own tile, with the matching snippet highlighted. DOCUMENTS The formatting toolbar is visible instead of hidden behind a selection, with tables, images and much better pasting from Word. MARKDOWN FILES Upload a .md file and it renders as real markdown instead of a mangled blob. "Edit as document" turns it into a Factsplat document beside it, leaving the original untouched. MORE FILE TYPES HEIC, AVIF and GIF now upload straight from your camera roll. CAROUSEL (BETA) A new slide-style droplet under More types. Drag droplets in, see a real preview of each slide, and detach a slide without deleting it. ARCHIVE Archive a droplet instead of deleting it, and restore it later. Available on all paid tiers. TIDIER NOTIFICATIONS A run of updates to the same thing folds into one row you can expand, and tapping a notification lands you on the right item. AI ASSISTANT When the assistant archives something or reorders your grid, you now get an undo button for it. FIXES FOR IPHONE - Content shared in from other apps appears right away, without backing out of the splat and returning - The share extension intro now shows on first launch after updating - Context menus no longer get clipped by neighbouring droplets - The safe area is respected throughout, and splat settings has a back button - The Terms of Service modal is full screen, so it actually scrolls - Items added through "More types..." now land in the collection - Duplicate splat is available from the splat drawer - Dragging to reorder in a collection lands where the insertion line shows ALSO - The Discussion droplet is now called Chat box - Onboarding can no longer come up blank, and always offers a way through - Deleting a collection warns you how many droplets are inside first - Dragging an item between two collections can no longer half-succeed and lose it - Sharing warns you that synced droplets stay hidden from logged-out visitors - Links to a droplet in the same splat highlight it in place instead of opening a tab - Organization admins can create groups again - A long list of smaller fixes and stability improvements
