What's New in FAH Mobile Monitor Solo

4.0.0

June 30, 2020

Small changes to actual screen dimensions, adding dark mode and minor bug fixed.

User reviews

Clunky UI, crashes frequently

The UI for adding clients is very clunky and buggy, featuring a totally unnecessary "edit" mode (should be able to hit "+" without entering "edit" mode, and should be able to remove clients by simply left-swiping on them), a totally unnecessary toggle switch on each client entry, and controls that do not always accurately show/hide/disable with the state of "edit mode".

The app repeatedly crashes while trying to connect to clients to show their info; seems like it happens whenever it can't successfully connect to a configured client for some reason.

While it's nice to have an FAH client app on iPhone, this one needs a lot of work to get the quality up to an acceptable level.

Useful but glitchy

Good when it works, but crashes a lot. Often it shows old data, and needs to be killed and restarted to refresh.
Also, if a machine is off when the app is run, the app automatically disables it in settings, so it has to be manually reenabled next time
In summary, seems to be the only F@H monitor app in town, but could be a lot better

What the FK is this app intended for

Poorly written, and incompressible. There’s no way to understand how you’re supposed to key in your existing pc configurations into this app.

Great App! Want development to continue.

A few features seem to be unstable or to not work properly but otherwise this has been life-changing to me.

I had no problem using either IP addresses or DNS (some machines are elsewhere and I use DDNS and port mapping to get to them.

I wish the circles would scale to more slots as I have a lot of systems folding. Or at least let me pick which GPUs get circles, and let me label the circles.

Also, some columns I don’t use can’t be deleted from the spreadsheet.

I would make a small contribution (perhaps via Patreon?) to get further development.

Incoherent

This app is incoherent. The icons and UX make no sense, and there is no clear way to add existing F@H clients.
