What's New in FairLedger

1.5.5

BUILD YOUR SCHEDULE VISUALLY • Choose a custody pattern and immediately see four to five weeks of the rotation • Try different start dates and watch the calendar update as you make changes • Compare suggested start dates or choose your own • Each day is color-coded by parent, with handoff days labelled by name • Today is marked so you can see where you are in the cycle • Experiment as much as you want — nothing changes until you save SEE WHAT YOUR CHOICES CHANGE For schedules such as 2-2-3 and 2-2-5-5, changing the starting weekday can change how weekends fall. The preview lets you see those differences before you save. FairLedger will also give you a heads-up when a selected start date would split Saturday and Sunday between homes. For patterns where changing the start date doesn't affect the rotation, it tells you that too. MORE CUSTODY OPTIONS • Added Every Other Weekend (Friday–Sunday) as another schedule option • Corrected the 4-3 rotation and bi-weekly schedule preview ALSO IN THIS RELEASE • Notification settings now have their own screen • Profile has been reorganized for easier reading As always, FairLedger keeps a shared, tamper-evident record: transactions require co-parent approval, while messages and audit history remain unchanged once written.

Most co-parenting apps I've tried feel either too basic or way more complicated than they need to be. FairLedger was surprisingly easy to get started with. I especially like having the custody schedule and expenses in the same app since those things usually go hand in hand. After using it for a while, I found myself checking it instead of scrolling through old messages trying to remember what happened.

I've been looking for a better way to keep track of everything that comes with co-parenting, and this is the first app that's really clicked for me. The custody calendar was what caught my attention, but I ended up using it for expenses too because it just keeps everything together. It's nice not having to dig through old texts or emails to remember who paid for something or what was agreed to. It feels organized without being complicated.
