Pretty cool
I loved being able to buy a plant with an app to go with it, but the app is pretty low quality. When the fairy appears it tells you some stuff about the plant, but after it’s done, you’re stuck with a fairy that’s frozen. The graphics are pretty low as well. Cool plant though!

The concept is really cool!! Scan the tags of the plants you buy and see its corresponding fairy, as it comes alive and speaks to you. It even tells you a bit about the plant. The problems come with the app itself. The effects are quite bad, looking like a 1999 cd rom computer game. Only their mouths and wings move, and they only move slightly. Every other body part is stiff as a board. It’s almost like a bad animatronic. They reuse skins and only change the colors of the fairy, so that was more than a bit disappointing. I was only able to get the app to work once, and now when I open it, it only shows the instructions and they says “please wait” before showing the instructions again. If they updated the fairies appearance and movements and fixed some bugs in the app this could be really cool!!

Fairy Garden Fun
Our family loves seeing the beautiful fairies and hearing their stories. Augmented Reality is so fun and this app is very well done.
