Wouldn’t play

The game no longer let me play. It got to the introduction screen and when I pushed Play, nothing happened. I pushed Unlock, nothing happened. Sad!

One of the best games I have played, I am looking for more games like this. They seem hard to find. Hope you continue making more like this

Fun storyline

Love the storyline, all the Talesville games are great except for the multiple times you have to use the same items to do the same things, you need to find and sharpen an axe, a knife to cut fabric or rope, need a shovel or ? to dig, need to feed an animal, have to put out the fire, put a wheel on to move something, all that is great, but repeatedly using the same things to get the same results over and over again in one game? Sigh get more creative people.

Things were going well until I got below decks on the ship.
There’s a puzzle that involves spinning yellow lines until they make a grid. I have been trying for awhile, and it just won’t work. I even tried using the strategy guide, AND both the easy and hard solutions. No luck. Very disappointing!

Extras Missing

Have completed the game playing the match 3 alternative for the game and bonus. I always save the hidden objects games for later!
Tried to open the “extras” and can’t access it - this needs fixing!!!

Developer Support Lacking

A glitch in this game, meant I couldn’t progress. I tried reinstalling, but this made no difference, so I contacted the developer for support. I would have hoped that they would provide some support, especially as this is a paid for game, however they didn’t bother to respond. Usually I find these games worth paying for, but now won’t do this again

Ordinary

The game was ordinary for domini. The first thing you’re handed when the game begins is a hat, so you know you’re going to fan smoke or steam right away. Which we did over and over. We pulled nails quite a bit too, plus we got to scoop water and dig as usual 🙄🥱. I found that the extras area didn’t work after completing the game. I also found in chapter 4 the puzzle on the wall after you place the lantern to go down the steps on the ship doesn’t work correctly, so you must skip it. This was a year after the release so I’m not sure if it’s because of my newer iOS or not? These games could be better and they’re really not so I’m not giving good reviews to mediocrity.

Unfortunately, this is the fifth Domini game in a row that’s got the same glitch early on that prevent any further playing.

•Plus indicator item is blank.
Unable to add or use item.

(It’s happened right after the crying girl gave me after offering her tea....who I originally bypassed...trying first on the snowy coin in vending machine...lol...)

😬And this one has SUCH promise!

Although it started out a bit sluggish, it quickly resolved and the beautiful vibrant colors with realistic crisp graphics quickly pulled me in....until this.

The issues are most likely a reoccurring coding problem
repeating over and over- and not being detected in either the QA and RTM stages.

I did some digging on several review sites and forums (Google, Amazon, Apple App Store+Mobile Site, Big Fish, etc) and found similar negative reviews re Domini Games -
-every single one was related to the same glitches:
Blank Item circles and/or freezing up.

Not just on iPads, but computers as well.

One quick and easy solution?
Always have a second blind evaluation,
and test/play the games on ALL platforms
(Cell phones, Tablets, Computers)
prior to final release.

It’s less costly and time-consuming than to retest, reprogram and re-release.

Played on an IPad with current IOS.

Anyway, I’ve emailed my review with a screenshot to Domini support, (great guys) and I’ll continue to check back for the fix/update ...
so I can play and rewrite my review.

Fairy Godmother: Dark Deal

I’m disappointed. Dark Deal is the second game in a row that I’ve purchased
from Domini Games that has an empty item which can not be accessed. I can not move on in the game.
I’ve never had this problem before now. The other game with the same problem Is
Labyrinths of the World: Heart of the Earth.
After contacting customer support, they said they would let me know when it was fixed. I’ve not heard back. I’m reluctant to order any more games from them.

Fairy Godmother Stories-Dark Deals

First, thanks for your hard work in creating the Fairy Godmother series. I gave this game 4 stars only because I have to tap the item often in order for it to respond. Otherwise, I’ve enjoyed playing and like this series very much. I also like the Christmas Spirit-Grimm Tales and hope see more of them.

Fairy Godmother: Dark Deal by LynxMinx

My review was deleted and guess what. I’m not writing another one. This game was average and that’s how I rated it. I liked the first one better. The game was short and the touchscreen sensitivity was not right. The basic gameplay was good.
Out today on Halloween, Domini has released Halloween 3: Cursed Family.

I love the fairy godmother series. Only thing that spoilt the game was the pressing to do things didn’t always work and I had to skip a few puzzles as it was temperamental. Please fix 👍

Great Game

So enjoyed this game! Held my interest throughout. Experienced sensitivity issues as stated by previous reviewer. Nice long game!! Will greatly appreciate any new hidden object game for IPad for the two long holiday weekends coming this year (Thanksgiving/Christmas). Thank you for this game.

Dark Deal

I love the fairy godmother series. This was a long, eventful game that I really enjoyed. Loved the bonus chapter. I too saw all the old big fish games loaded for 2 days and godmother lost in them. Glad I found it.

Not bad but still has issues

First, Thank you to Lynx Minx for all the hard work and continuing to communicate on behalf of gamers even when under the weather. You are much appreciated!

Now for my review. This could have been a great game except for a couple of ongoing issues. The touch sensitivity is terrible, and extremely annoying. Also, as in the previous game, placing some pieces in the puzzles is almost impossible. They just do not stick. I finally was able to manage one puzzle by double tapping the piece as I carefully placed it, but this is not acceptable. Finally, there is a problem in the map view where some locations are off the right side of the screen and not accessible.
