glitches in app

The app was so cute with the sheep avatar before. But it keeps updating and has been so confusing to use. I used the journal feature of the app quite often. But the photos never stay after you attach them. It always disappears. Now the app keeps logging me out and the most recent time I’ve logged in all my journal entries disappeared. This is quite upsetting the app had so much potential. I’ve emailed support about the issues with my photos before and they responded but was never able to actually fix the issue. hopefully i can recover my journal entries and switch back to traditional journal instead😭

Terrible update

I had been playing for over 40 days and I had a streak going. They updated the app to make it more about social media and ads, which isn't what Christ is about, but whatever. It deleted all my progress and there's no way to contact anyone in the app. It's a pointless and terribly put together app. Every single time I open it it makes me start over so I'm deleting it.

New Update

I don’t like the look of the new update. I just wanted to come to my little bean everyday and check off my spiritual responsibilities. This new look is so unnecessary 😭☹️

Navigation weird, deletes progress

I don’t like the new navigation, I wish it had just stayed where it was instead of bringing a bunch of other features and practically hiding my lamb in the “Fold” section.

I would also like if you could set it to where we can set scheduled goals to complete, like church every Sunday.

Also, sometimes I go in there and record some goals and then when revisit the app later it restarts my progress for the day as if I never went and completed goals. Very glitchy, needs more user friendliness and customizability, and I want the homepage of viewing my Lamb first back.

Excellent concept and I love it once it gets the issues worked out!

What on earth

This is a little horrifying, and feels very irreverent. Screams prosperity gospel culture. The language used feels very manipulative, and arrogant. “Ascend to greater grace” as a tagline for the subscription? WHAT? I got the app out of curiosity because I saw an add and it looked EXACTLY like finch (stealing is a sin), and while they’ve changed a lot of the aesthetics now, it hasn’t changed the fact that so much of what’s in this app is abominable. You can cast lots to get a “faith calling” for the day, nevermind that God is who calls us, not some app algorithm. You can “generate a blessing” see issue above about who gives those. The games are blatantly irreverent, like tapping at the right moment to ascend into heaven. Honestly, the first word that came to mind is cursed (not witchcraft cursed, but as in meme/casual language cursed)
You couldn’t pay me to use this app.

Circus

It looks cool at first, but it turned my time with God into a check off the box to carnival town. It’s too flashy for me, and half of my time on the app was them trying to sell more stuff. If that’s what you need to spend more time with God then go for it, but it felt too shallow. I’m going back to a simple Bible app and using that widget that puts substance over surface.

Weird glitch

I have been using the app for almost two months, and it’s started to give me unlimited tasks for the day- where normally I would have 5 different tasks, now it’s repeating the same five tasks 7-8 times. It’s frustrating to not be able to get my tasks done because I can’t possibly check off 50-60 items every time.

I’m mean it’s super cute of course but I love finch , I just feel like you guys could make it more original or your own you know! But I like bringing god into it and it helping people is good just that aspect feel off to me , it’s almost exactly the finch app idk

PERFECT APP

I’ve been looking for an BIBLE/CHRISTIAN app that I can add as my widget and just overall track the days that I’ve been consistent with God and then BOOM; FaithTime popped up. It was an immediate download and it’s exactly what I was looking for!

I am extremely satisfied because not only can I try my consistency with God through this app, I have a cute sheep / lamb (which writing it out now is even cuter and more wonderful because we are Jesus’ sheep / lamb) that is encouraging.

I can go on and on lol but will definitely recommend!

I love this app, but can we please stop all the upgrades all the time. In the last month there has been three updates. Most apps don’t have that many in a month.

Recent glitch

It’s a cute app, helps me stay consistent. After this last update though every time I go to collect my daily reward in the Journey section it automatically kicks me out of the app. I can do everything else, but that and it’s irritating. I even restarted my phone and that didn’t help. I can’t even find somewhere to contact for support.

This template has been stolen from the Finch app, it’s not even remotely trying to look different. Wild work for Christian content.. copying another company’s efforts.

When I download a Christian app and it asks me”what gender do you identify with” it’s definitely getting deleted immediately. God did not mess up and put people in the wrong body. That’s called mental illness. 🤦🏻‍♂️
