Absolutely Realistic

This app teaches the fallacy in everyday lives especially how to tackle family meetings, whatsapp junk ,debates and social media scroll

Response from developer

Family meetings and WhatsApp junk might be the toughest testing ground there is — glad it holds up there. Thanks for the kind words. — the Fallacy team

恶心死了

Deutscher Nutzer hier :)

Grateful this app exists

Mostly this app is great. The games are straightforward and get you practicing your logical fallacy spotting skills immediately. My only criticism is that some of the examples in the “people you meet” category feel AI generated or the writing is just really clunky and awkward. Maybe it’s meant to be vague so that it doesn’t seem to political but the vague robotic language is unnecessarily confusing.

Response from developer

This is useful and specific — thank you. You're right that some of the "people you meet" scenarios read stiffly, and the vagueness meant to keep them apolitical has made a few of them genuinely confusing instead. We're going back through that category. — the Fallacy team

Critical in this era

Such a useful app and essential life training. Highly recommended!

Response from developer

Thank you — "essential life training" is a high bar, and we'll keep trying to earn it. — the Fallacy team

I actually LEARNED something?!?!

Downloaded, and I’ve always been curious about logical fallacies… but never done the research. I love your app, and it has a Duolingo feel to it, which is high praise. I’ve already gotten through the first 2 lessons and I’ve actually learned something (gasp). Great work!

Response from developer

Hi Sorimka, Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review — it genuinely means a lot to our small team. The "Duolingo feel" comparison is the highest compliment you could give us, because that was exactly the design goal: keep the lessons short, a little addictive, and actually informative by the end.

Propaganda framing

Partisan politics embedded. These topics can be taught without choosing a consistently biased contemporary frame.

Response from developer

Hi @non23, Thank you for raising this concern directly, and for taking the time to write the review. We want to address it seriously rather than dismiss it. Our intent with Challenge Mode and Debate Mode is to use real, contemporary examples so that reasoning lessons feel grounded and relevant — but those examples should be drawn from across the political spectrum and across ideological viewpoints, never weighted toward any single one. If the experience felt one-sided, that's a meaningful problem and one we want to fix. We're already conducting an editorial audit of the content library on exactly this axis, with a rebalance queued for upcoming releases. If you would be willing to share the specific scenarios that felt biased to you, please email us at hello@vertexstudios.online — that level of detail would directly shape the audit. We genuinely appreciate the feedback.

Great app for time killing!

Interesting, sleek, intuitive app with interesting questions. It would be sticky if user can experience more in the free version. I wanted to see more but was only stopped by the paywall.

Response from developer

Hi Boohyys, Thank you for the thoughtful review — and for the honest feedback on the paywall. This is exactly the kind of constructive note we want to hear.

amazing animation

very interesting app, smooth login, great tutorial

Response from developer

Thank you. The onboarding and tutorial got a lot of internal attention — making the first 60 seconds feel right matters more than any single feature — so it's great to see that come through on your side.

Great app to learn about logical thinking

Learned a lot about logical fallacies using this app. Very useful and informative

Response from developer

Hallo Milad, Vielen Dank for the kind review. Hearing that you actually learned something — and found the experience useful and informative — is the highest bar we set for ourselves. Most "brain games" exercise memory or reflexes; we wanted Fallacy to teach a skill you carry into real conversations and real decisions.

Useful and Topical

With all the ways the news tries to spin everything nowadays, sharpening your brain with an app like Fallacy is really useful. Kudos

Response from developer

Hi prospectingpa, Thank you for the great review — and for capturing the exact reason we built this app in the first place. The information environment is noisier and more manipulative than ever, and being able to recognize a slanted argument, a loaded framing, or a flawed inference is a real-world skill, not an academic exercise.

Lowkey training my brain every day

Downloaded this out of curiosity and ended up playing way longer than I planned. Some of the riddles actually make you slow down and rethink your first answer, which I liked. A few levels were easier than others, but overall it feels challenging in a good way. Definitely a solid choice if you enjoy thinking games.

Response from developer

Thanks so much for giving it a try and for sharing this thoughtful feedback, BrooklynKid99! We love hearing that it pulled you in longer than expected — that “wait… let me rethink that” moment is exactly what we’re aiming for. The mix of easier and tougher levels is intentional too, so you can warm up and then really stretch your thinking. Really appreciate you taking the time to write this. More mind-bending challenges are on the way

Fallacy is an interesting concept

In concept, it holds logical reasoning against fallacious assumptions. Debate mode is my main issue. It does not allow you to craft your own reasoning. You choose a topic, which all have a multiple choice debate behind it. It lacks some basic issues (ie, Immigration) and the responses are “mid.” This app needs a chatbot, current news stories, and a pvp function.

Response from developer

hanks for the honest feedback, Julius — we appreciate it. Debate Mode is structured on purpose to help train fallacy recognition first, but we understand it can feel limiting. Expanding topics and exploring more dynamic features like open responses or interactive modes are definitely on our radar. Thanks for helping us improve.

Political

This game clearly draws from a political bias the skews heavily towards pop culture issues from the perspective of the left. You would expect a game of this genre to at least attempt to avoid this type of propagandizing

Debate didn’t work

It lost my whole debate and didn’t add my points even though I answered every question correctly

LOVE

Super well thought out app, brilliant tool for uni students or business owners looking to become better leaders or communicators.

Great idea and smart execution

Been using this for a while and started winning arguments with some friends! Super easy UI and very intuitive

Response from developer

Love this 😄 Thanks so much Winning arguments (the logical way) is always a good sign. Glad the UI feels intuitive too — we put a lot of thought into keeping it clean and simple so the focus stays on thinking. Appreciate you sticking with it!

تقييم

I hope to add the Arabic language

Exceptionally well executed

I was just thinking of coding up a game like this only to find yours on the playstore. It’s even better than what I thought of making haha

Bit difficult to understand at first but very engaging

A bit difficult to understand at first but once you get a hang of it you will be hooked!

Great app, kudos to the developer

Response from developer

Thanks so much for the kind words! We understand there’s a bit of a learning curve initially, but we’re thrilled to hear it clicked for you. We’re constantly working to improve the experience—feel free to share any suggestions!
