DO NOT SPEND MONEY
Played the game legit and found after being level 140, the game slows down with productivity and the caps don’t even give you enough from the jobs to build more.
They make more stuff expense to prolong your time on spending on the vault screen .
Even after doing the quests , you have to wait 2-5hours before even getting 150 caps from the mission …
It’s an alright game , don’t spend money on it though.
Bethesda, you've done it again!
Although progress is slow,
And you've gotta grind for a BUNCH of stuff, it's nice to see your vault loaded with resources and armed to the teeth. A few tips i've got for the game, if you wanna get good at it. #1 always guard your vault door, and give the dwellers guarding it the best armor and weapons you've got. #2 once you have a medbay, and a science lab, prioritize Stimpak and Radaway production for a little while. #3 build the overseer's office as soon as you can, going on quests can really help your vault. #4 if you're tired of waiting for Vault-tec videos to load, then just force quit, and reload the game. It's kind of an infinite money glitch, and it's really helpful if you're in a tight spot. #5 don't build small rooms, excepting it to help your vault a lot, only to find out that those rooms are using more resources than they produce. #6 build dweller training rooms as soon as you can, then build more work rooms after they're trained, or assign them to an already existing room. #7 When you can, start replacing some of your basic power stations with nuclear power plants. #8 keep lots of junk handy, as it's used for crafting. #9 if you get a mister handy, assign it to the floor that you think produces the most resources.
Okayish game
Good game
Fun
Good
Great game. But it’s Bethesda…
I love the game, I always come back
One thing I’d love to see come to the game (or make another game) is a fallout walker. Like how your vault people travel to the wasteland, why not make a mechanic (or whole game) about a wasteland dweller or vault dweller who goes further you walk personally. The further you go, the better outposts and areas you find (and maybe harder)
Making a good walker is hard but fallout has a great concept for its payoff
Game got bricked
Soooo fun 🤩
Fun but has new issues
More caps
It lost my save
Fun Until Paywalls
Then wait mechanics set in. And you can speed them up by, you guessed it, micro-transactions. But wait, there’s more! If your vault falls or ends up in a bit of trouble, which WILL happen since the vault is online even when you’re idle! Don’t worry though—you can spend NUKA COLA BOTTLES (which you buy through more microtransactions) to “save” your settlement!
You can integrate micro-transactions ethically, by making them entirely optional, cosmetic only, with more than enough content for free players so if you just want a bonus, you can just pay a bit to add some stuff.
This game is solidly in the toxic model of F2P games. This game is pay-to-win.
In other words… Bethesda’s natural habitat.
