App goes starts count down on its own. the ve fixed settings for personal use so not sure why it keeps counting down. So far not so good.

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to help you get started. Please email support@fallsafetyapp.com. To remove an emergency contact, just swipe left on the list of emergency contacts and a delete option will appear. You may remove all but the last emergency contact. Since you are using FallSafety Pro, it appears you have enabled Worker Down detection. This safety protocol monitors for inactivity in case a person becomes unconscious. Please enable/disable Worker Down detection as needed. There is also a “table detect” option to help determine if your phone is left on a table so it won’t alert in that case.

I down loaded the newest version it keeps telling me I need to start it.

Hello Paul B, Please be sure you are running the most recent version of iOS, many issues are resolved by keeping the operating system up to date. To see if you need to update iOS, tap on Settings on your iPhone, tap on General, tap on Software Update. Please email support@fallsafetyapp.com. We can setup a time to talk on the phone about the issue you are experiencing.

Gayle, We believe you may have the Worker Down feature enabled, which will alarm when the phone does not move. This is helpful for workers who may be injured or unconscious. Disable this feature and we think this will solve your issue. Let us know more at support@fallsafetyapp.com.

Thank you for the feedback. FallSafety Pro has a "Worker Down" mode that detects inactivity (e.g. someone that is not moving and possibly unconscious). Do you remember if you turned on "Worker Down" mode? We would be happy to email with you at support@fallsafetyapp.com or schedule a call. We can refund you or possibly our FallSafety Home solution would be a better fit if you don't need "Worker Down" mode.

Thank you for your feedback. FallSafety Pro is tuned to detect larger falls by default. You can change Fallsafety Pro to detect larger falls or use FallSafety Home. FallSafety Home is tuned to detect smaller falls by default. Note: We consider a fall from over 4' as a larger fall (as defined by OSHA as working at height).

Thank you for the feedback. While FallSafety Pro does not work standalone on Apple Watch, FallSafety Pro does support Apple Watch as a remote control for FallSafety Pro running on an iPhone. Important: The iPhone must be carried on your body for fall detection and man down detection (inactivity) to work. We hope to improve the Apple Watch support in the future. FallSafety Pro detects larger falls and impacts for people who work at height and are working alone (i.e. lone workers). With fall detection and man down detection, FallSafety Pro has proved valuable for people working on roofs, ladders, scaffolding, etc. while filtering out smaller events like hopping out of a truck. Although FallSafety Pro detects many events, a simple example of what it can detect is falling / jumping off of the 3rd rung of a ladder. FallSafety Pro is not more sensitive to falls and impacts in order to minimize false alarms.

Thank you for the feedback. With FallSafety Pro, the app download is free and includes email notifications in the event of a fall or man down alarm. In order to get the benefits of the FallSafety Service, you must subscribe for a monthly or annual fee. Some of the benefits of the FallSafety Service are text and voice notifications to emergency contacts. Please note that there is a free trial (no credit card required) for you to try the FallSafety Service.
