Teaching the wrong words
Im trying to learn Brazilian Portuguese and they are using European Portuguese to teach with. Using words like te and teus which are not used in Brazil.

Too many faults
I started using Falou in conjunction with Duolingo. After around 100 days it just got too hard and the sentences too long. There’s no way to slowly be corrected. I just gave up and lost my day streak which cannot be repaired. I’m ditching it altogether now and shall concentrate solely on Duolingo which is far superior.

This is my first time learning with this app and it is so fun learning Korean it teaches you how to talk gives hard questions and feedback. I am an BTS army. I think all around the world BTS army should use this app.

Easy way to keep learning things for when you’re gonna travel

I’ve been using another well known app for a really long time and it rarely asks me to speak so I comprehend the language better but the purpose is to learn to speak and Falou gets you doing that from day one excellent

Downloaded Falou as I heard good things about it compared to Duolingo that I felt I wasn’t getting anywhere with it. The first 3 weeks I was quite impressed and had paid for the premium account. After 3 weeks I had a notification saying I needed to delete the app, restart my phone and reinstall the app for me to use it again, after doing this and logging back into my account all my progress had vanished and had to start from scratch learning all the basics again, I contacted customer services who told me I could download their sister app “chats” which would cater to what I’ve already learned on my account, having then downloaded this app, it kept a telling me to go to Falou and I would be notified when my lesson is ready, (also constantly getting notifications saying my lesson is ready but again would tell me to go to Falou) I would then go to Falou but have nothing but issues, the app bugging out, teaching me what I assume was German when I’m trying to learn Italian. I complained to Apple who gave me a full refund. Another downside to the app is it would tell you you’re correct before you even finish the sentence, along with telling you you’re correct even if you make an obvious error, I think you’re better off paying for a premium Duolingo account
