Familial is absolutely phenomenal. As a father of 3 I’ve always wanted to find the balance between family and social media. Familial offers the perfect balance, a private platform where I can share photos and connect with the rest of my family without being invaded by ads and having to worry about my personal data being stolen. Familial offers a great safe space where I can keep in touch and share with those I love most.

Revolutionary App
Familial is an app that cares about the user and their family before profits and the founder. The lack of ads and simple space that’s meant to focus on you is very attractive and refreshing when compared to other apps that compete for your attention and want to monetize every minute you spend on the app. You can actually see that it’s worthwhile to use, while in its infancy it’s clear to see it has the potential to grow enormously. The option to pay 1 time to upgrade your circle is a nice alternative to being forced to pay monthly for a plan you don’t need. 100/10 recommend this app and founder, who both truly care about you.

Long distance connection
I live in the US while my sister and her family live in Sweden. Sometimes it’s difficult to stay in contact with each other. Through familial we’ve been able to stay in contact and I’ve been able to see their adventures, and listen to stories they have through the campfire feature. Thank you!

wanted a place to share life updates with close friends and family without my data being sold to advertisers lol and this app is perfect for that. super simple to use and actually feels private.
i have deleted all of the other social media apps over the years as they’ve gotten worse and worse, but this fills in the gaps that they left and lets me stay in touch with my family in a way that i genuinely enjoy. especially as we are starting to have kids ourselves :)

This is the app of the future. I love how there’s no ads or doomscrolling, only updates from my family! The fridge is my favorite feature
