About

Familiar Faces keeps the people who matter close at hand through photos, names and personal introductions. Create face packs for family and friends, support teams, colleagues, recovery or a new setting. Use independently or alongside someone you support. No age or diagnosis is required. - Add up to 24 people per pack, with optional photos, relationships, written introductions and videos. - Tap a person to see their introduction. Play videos when you choose, with optional repeat playback. - Share complete packs through the iOS share sheet. Recipients review before import. - Send updated copies and confirm replacement of matching saved packs. - View saved packs offline, without an account. - Protect editing with a local setup PIN; recover it using device authentication. - Start with a fictional example and reopen guidance from Help. Record short introductions in Camera, then select them from Photos. Shared media is prepared locally, with completed exports below 60 MB. Saved originals are preserved. Both devices need a compatible version for sharing. Shared packs are independent files: changes are not automatically synchronised, and copies can be forwarded and cannot be recalled. The setup PIN does not encrypt exported files. Share with permission from the people featured. No ads, tracking or subscriptions. This is a personal communication aid; no clinical outcomes are claimed.

What's New in Familiar Faces

1.1.0

September 22, 2026

Create reusable face packs with photos, names, relationships, written introductions and videos. Share packs and review incoming copies before adding them. Updated copies can replace a saved pack with your confirmation. This update adds clearer getting-started guidance, smaller shared files, more reliable photo and video handling, and clearer setup PIN error messages. Update both devices to this version for pack sharing. Shared packs are separate copies; changes are not automatically synchronised.
