Great family organizer
We love this and it works great for our small family. Wish it would have the capability to merge with other calendars but overall very happy!
Family Dashboard
We love this app! We mainly use it for the calendar and chores. I also add notes sometimes with dinner plans for the kids to see. I chose this app because it can be used as an app or in a web browser. I initially set it up on a raspberry pi to a touch screen in our kitchen. Now the kids are old enough to have it on their own devices. The kids love that they can customize their own profile colors and images and we all love checking things off lists. This is the best app I’ve found that meets our needs for a calendar and chore interface for free.

Needs some updates
Need better images for store. It would also be great if we could duplicate tasks without having to choose multiple days or months.

Versatile and Time-saving Family App
It's a very useful app. I like the ability to sort tasks into chores, homework, or to-do's. The reward system is creative; I like that customization options are locked behind effort instead of money, and that parents can set custom rewards for kids. The meal planner is amazing—it’s so much easier to plan a month’s worth of dinners, and making a shopping list is almost automatic. It saves so much time! I also like how family members with different devices can use it together, and that syncing is basically instant. Definitely worth checking out!

Points do not add automatically. If assigning to multiple people than it doesn’t add point to all of them
Glitches
It is ok, I was really excited whenever I opened the app and then it was working fine. Then whenever I added my family, it worked perfectly. Until everything started pausing and glitching. I was really disappointed because now I have to find a different app to replace this one.
Maybe this could just be the internet but I am not taking a risk.

Worst App I’ve Ever Encountered
Just downloaded and tabs have disappeared. I can’t change permissions nor add or delete family members. I’ve emailed and called for help. No answer
Useful planner tool but adding diary events is painful
I used Cozi for years but they changed the format and ruined it, so looked for something new.
Family Tools is much better, it has more functionality albeit some of it is only in the premium chargeable version.
For my needs I want to track what food shopping I need throughout the week running up to the day I go shopping. And I want to plan the meals we are going eat, planning these contributes the shopping list.
The problem is that adding a diary entry (a meal) is cumbersome. Even if you click on the day you still have to then select the date in the event entry and it defaults to select the time first. Selecting the date from the calendar is hard work. This is very frustrating. If this could be made easier, i.e. choose the date and add a full day entry on that date, then I’d be a happy User!

Almost great
Have been using this for a few months and liked it pretty well at first. Two things that bugged me from the start: I wish it would allow pictures in the recipe section and I hated that it didn't notify me for chores/tasks occuring weekly/monthly (had to be date specific). Then they updated and took away the leveling up and instead went to a reward of stars for in app item purchases. That took away from the kids competing against each other and now they don't care to do what they need to. Not a good move.

Meant for American market
Looks good but because it only uses American format rather than adopting the regional format makes it less useful, filled in a few dates and wondered why our party had moved from 8th June to 6th August! Won’t be upgrading to premium until that is fixed.
Not linking properly
Good app in theory but it doesn’t seem to link properly. When my kids log in and go on their profile nothing is showing up but when on the parent account it’s all there.

I have Loved this app from the beginning, but something isn't right now.
I use categories in my shopping lists to help me find the items in a timely manner in the store.
However, it has not been saving the category lately...no matter if I add it when first adding the item, or add it later...once I leave the list and go back in, all the categories are gone, and it shows everything as "uncategorized".
Can this be fixed?

Can’t figure out how to add a child with email
It explains how to add a child with no emails but at that point the child have to use your device, I suppose.
My kids are younger than 13 and they have iPads. I wanted them to be in charge with the app. I can add their emails but I can’t create an account for them since they are under 13. How can I do that? How can I download the app in their devices and create their kid account linked to my parent account? It’s confusing..

Wonderful app! Features for free and paid!
I love how easy and simple the app is to use. I enjoyed making goals with my wife and trying to schedule out my day in the calendar, and my wife was able to see it from her family tools app. It would be even more useful when we have kids i think, but it’s definitely been nice even as a couple. It’s a great way to share productivity with each other.
I also love the humor there developers put in some of the messages - they seem like cool people!
The one suggestion I would have is if the developers could make the calendar app function like a daily planner where you can tap the time slots you want to schedule an event on, sort of like google calandre. Great app overall, well done!

Pretty cool app
I love using lists and chores. It’s also easy to plan things as a family and homework’s great for my son, especially right now where he’s doing so much schoolwork at home. Notifications that he’s completed his homework and chores is also cool. I like the rewards, but I do wish there was more of them.

Family members unable to join
When I first found this app it seemed very promising and I was very excited to give it a try. Unfortunately, after spending over 2 hrs trying to get it to work, the app is simply dysfunctional. I keep sending invites to my kids who did go through the invite link and create their accounts, yet they are not on the family! It’s like each one had their own account and absolutely no collaboration is available which completely defeats the purpose of the app. Going to the FAQs and help page, I’m afraid, was another disappointment. The questions were rather limited and did not address the topic at all. Almost all questions were concerned with “how to get the app”, providing little to no information on functionality.
