About

Family Visits is a calm, family-first way to coordinate who visits Mom, Dad, or any relative who needs regular company. No group-chat scramble. No spreadsheet. No shaming. Just a clear picture of what's covered, what isn't, and who's going next. Built for siblings who already love each other and just want the week to add up. COVERAGE AT A GLANCE See this week's visits as a row of seven days. Green for covered, butter-yellow for days that need help. Tap a day to claim it. That's the whole flow. CLAIM A DAY IN ONE TAP No forms. No invites to accept. You tap an open day, the app schedules the visit, the family circle gets a quiet note that you've got it. SIBLING-FAIRNESS, NEUTRAL Visits this month: Sarah 5, John 3, Maria 1. We show the rollup. We never call anyone out. There's no leaderboard, no streak, no "you're behind." Just the truth, in numbers, so the family can decide together. NAME-BASED REMINDERS Not "Visit reminder." Not "Don't forget." Your phone gently says, "Sarah, you're visiting Mom in 1 hour." Reminders that sound like family, not a calendar app. TWO-WAY GOOGLE CALENDAR SYNC Add a visit in Family Visits, it lands in your Google Calendar. Add it in Google Calendar, it shows up here. Works alongside your existing weekly rhythm. QUIET ARRIVAL PINGS (optional) When you arrive at Mom's, the family circle gets a soft note. Off by default. Background location is opt-in, easy to disable, and only watches the address you're visiting. POST-VISIT REPORTS Three taps after the visit: a mood, an optional photo, an optional note. The family stays in the loop without anyone having to write the same update three times. MEMORIAL MODE When a parent passes, the circle isn't deleted. It becomes a quiet archive of photos and notes, accessible forever. No "Are you sure?" prompts. No countdown. Grief deserves more care than the back-end of a productivity app. PRIVACY THAT MEANS IT We sell nothing. We track no one. Location is opt-in. Contacts are looked up but never uploaded. Analytics are product-improvement only, never advertising. DESIGNED FOR EVERY GENERATION 56-point tap targets. Dynamic Type all the way up. VoiceOver-first labels. High contrast. Every status color paired with an icon so colorblind users see what everyone else sees. ENGLISH AND ESPAÑOL Both languages from day one. No second-class locale. Notifications, copy, and support flows ship together. WHO THIS IS FOR - Siblings sharing care for an aging parent - Adult children far from home who want to feel close - Family circles around grandparents, aunts, godparents, or anyone who deserves more visits than they're getting - Anyone tired of coordinating love through a group chat that buries the plan under birthdays and memes WHO THIS IS NOT FOR - Professional caregivers running paid shifts (this is a family app, not a staffing tool) - Medical care coordination (we are not a health app, and we will never store medical records) - People looking for streaks, leaderboards, or guilt mechanics — we built the opposite QUESTIONS support@familyvisits.app familyvisits.app Made with love for the people we keep showing up for.
