Album purchase options are terrible
They don’t allow you to purchase more than one album or one set of pocket pages at a time. This means that you pay separate shipping for every single item. Which is expensive, annoying and terrible for the environment. I reached out to see if there was any way to combine shipping for 1 album and 4 sets of photo pockets but they refused to help. You can’t purchase the albums or pockets anywhere else. I wouldn’t choose this app again.

Great way to share photos!
My family loves this app. We have used it since our first granddaughter was born in 2019. It is a perfect way to share pictures and videos of children without having to worry about privacy. Even though we are long distance from our grandchildren, we have been able to share in so many of their special moments since the pictures and videos come to us regularly on this app.

This app was great until they began charging for things that were once free, began losing photos I ordered, and began shoving ads down my throat. Terrible update. People don’t like this, you’re going to lose business.
Good app for sharing with family far and close
This app is super convenient to share photos of baby and family.
One improvement to allow for captions (add, edit, remove) on the photos would be great! To provide interactive context to the receivers from the sharers.

We are truly enjoying this album. It is so nice to be able to share with everyone at once. You don’t have to worry about forgetting and leaving someone out.

No way to export your own photos in bulk
I really like a lot about this app, but this is a major dealbreaker: there is no way to mass download/export the photos and videos you’ve uploaded (even with the most expensive paid subscription which advertises a “bulk download” feature). If you ever want to move to another service or simply make a backup of your own memories, you apparently have to save everything individually.
I contacted customer support hoping they could provide a bulk export or another solution, but they couldn’t help with that either. For an app specifically designed to store and share important family photos and videos, users should absolutely have a reasonable way to retrieve their own content in bulk.
I’d happily update my review if a true bulk export/data download feature is added.

Best photo sharing app!!
Absolutely love this app! All my family and friends feel so connected to us by being able to see these photos and videos. Great for family with android and apple phones. It’s easy to use and the option for 11 free prints a month (you just have to pay $4 for shipping) is great. The prints do take a while because they come from Japan, but I don’t mind the wait.

Simple and good quality
I like that this app is so easy to use, particularly since you’re likely going to have elders giving it a try as well to see baby pictures. Also, compared to other apps that offer similar service, with FamilyAlbum you don’t have to pay extra for high quality uploads or bulk uploads - you can add as many photos as you want and they’re still high quality.

Grandson photos
My daughter-in-law uses this app to send me photos of my grandson. It is always a delight to see them and they have purchased a few of their books as well. I think it’s a great app.

This has been a joy for us to see her grow before our eyes through pictures. Being able to share pictures when she visits us has been fun for the whole family. Liked it so much the first year we renewed for a second year. Prints ordered are very affordable.

Never got my prints…
I ordered prints 2 times and never got my them. there’s no way to track through the app so now I’m nervous some creep has my child’s pictures
Terrible customer service & ship times
The photo sharing is good but they offer free print each month. The prints can take upwards of 7 weeks to ship and if they somehow get lost, customer service is basically auto-chat/AI. I have consistently been disappointed with customer service and I question the value you get since it’s a monthly subscription.
