Two critical issues

ONE: The “Connect Apple Calendar” link is dead. The other connect calendar links seem to work just fine. This is a huge issue to me. My family is not going to adopt this new way of doing things if we have to recreate everything from scratch.

TWO: Your support contact email is also dead. How can your customers reach out to you for help when the “remote server is misconfigured”? I’ve tried to contact you from two separate email domains and both have failed.

TLDR: You have a major flaw, and there’s no way for me to tell you about it directly.

I hope the Famnly team can at least see this review so that you’re able to address these issues. The app looks promising, but if I cannot count on having support, then it is unwise for me to invest my time and effort into this system.

Response from developer

Thank you for writing this! You were right on both counts. The "Connect Apple Calendar" link was broken by a change in a library we use. It is fixed now and we will submit the fix to the AppStore today, but to get it immediately: update to the latest version of Famnly then open the app, close it fully and open it once more, and the link works. Your existing events then appear in Famnly without recreating anything. The support address hello@famnly.com was bouncing because of a mail configuration problem on our side and is now working again. I am sorry it took a review to reach us! If anything else gets in the way, let us know! Nico, Famnly
