User reviews

Pretty darn good ish

I like this app. It's cool to see a thoughtful take on how to make sports more accessible beyond just meme accounts on instagram and twitter. I also like playing around with talk the ish. Kinda fun and I learn things without having to actually becoming a die hard fan.

Response from developer

Thank you — "a thoughtful take on making sports more accessible beyond the meme accounts" is basically the mission statement we'd put on the wall. That's exactly the gap we're trying to fill. Glad Talk the ish is landing too; learning things without having to go full die-hard is the whole idea. Thanks for playing around with it, and enjoy.

Exactly what I needed

OBSESSED. Gives me only the important info of what’s going on so I can stay in the loop!

Response from developer

OBSESSED right back. Only the important info, so you stay in the loop without the noise — that's exactly the point. Thanks for the love, and enjoy the matches.

Got ittt

Quick check in before office sports talk for a quick pulse. It’s like my cheat sheet. Look forward to new sports being added.

Response from developer

"Cheat sheet before office sports talk" — honestly, that might be the best description of Fanish we've heard. A quick pulse before you walk into the room is exactly what we're here for. More sports are on the way, so keep that cheat sheet handy. Thanks for checking in with us.

Super helpful for a sports noob

I love the innovative Fanish toggle, makes it super easy to navigate and fun to use. I’ve already learned a lot and excited to keep using this so I can chat w my friends about sports

Response from developer

The Fanish toggle is the piece we obsessed over most, so hearing it makes things easier and more fun to navigate genuinely makes our day. That's the whole bet — learn a little, feel ready to jump into the conversation with friends. Sounds like you're already there. Thanks for the kind words, and enjoy holding court at your next watch party.

Cool app!

I’m a gay who doesn’t watch sports but the app makes it easier to get the gist for the world cup and F1.  It’s easier than random google searches. Excited for tennis or golf to be supported because I do actually occasionally watch those.

Response from developer

Beating random Google searches is a bar we're proud to clear — glad Fanish is making the World Cup and F1 easy to get the gist of. Good news on your ask: tennis is already rolling in, so you're covered for the next one you tune into, and we're always weighing what sport to add next. Thanks for being here, and enjoy the ride.
