Great game

I love it, please let me purchase it on iOS.

Wander aimlessly with bad controls

It’s the type of game that doesn’t tell you what you’re supposed to do or where to go. So all you can do is wander around tapping objects to see what happens and read speech bubbles that pop up. But it’s tap a spot to move to it controls so you’re constantly running around to random spots as you’re trying to figure out what everything is and even when you’re trying to travel, it’s hard to get it to go where you want. Why didn’t they just give us a virtual thumbstick? So although the game looks good, good music, and feels like a Final Fantasy game, it plays like your first day on a new job and they haven’t trained you at all.

Non ROG enjoyer here

Captured by the presumably handmade maps - 20 hours in and just discovered the skill trees…

Innovative battle system.

The FF team nailed it with this one

I hate it!!!

Part one was fun, the bosses were appropriately challenging. Even wiped a t few times that got the rhythm and was able to beat them..

Part two, I hate it. I’m barely into it and I hate it. It’s more frustrating than fun and it puts me in a bad mood. Unless you’re a Pro gamer, I would just bypass this game. Because it hooks you in and then beat you up. It’s kind of like a bad relationship.

Sorry Leo, I m
Out!

Hidden gem

If you like JRPGS and look for a fun adventure, pick it up.
On my second playthrough after years, and WOW did I not appreciate this game enough when it came out.

Fantastic

Updated review, this is literally the best jrpg I have played on a phone ever, it just feels like the final fantasy we never got, while having its own identity love how they leave the upgrading your skills to later and giving characters their own elements making you switch your team about, I really enjoy this game and there’s not a single character that feels redundant literally everyone adds to a strategy.

Really good.

I’m playing on a base iPhone 16, the game is running smooth high settings and I do have the option to turn them down if I need to but haven’t had to so far, this is a premium jrpg that you can play on the go and if your already subbed to Apple Arcade there’s no reason not to try it and it seems to use the ffx card turn system that I think is the greatest way to play turn based. The only thing I don’t like is pointing where to go instead of a virtual stick but the touch in combat is fantastic.

As a JRPG fan, this is excellent!

I didn’t expect an iOS game to beat games I play on the steam deck but this one has excellent story and gameplay mechanics. I’m really enjoying it! Just need more of these.

Barely fun

This game is hard, and NOT in the fun way. It’s hard in the way that the bosses are incredibly unbalanced, forcing you to grind like crazy, doing the same things, fighting the same enemies over and over and over and over.

Also, the movement is awful. Sometimes the camera angle doesn’t match the map angle and it’s disorienting and makes no sense.

The story is… kinda cringe, maybe a 6/10. Honestly don’t waste your time playing. Would not recommend unless it gets updated to actually have balanced boss fights that aren’t just overly frustrating.

I don’t really like the story but I enjoy the gameplays

I don’t enjoy the visual novels and the dialogues. Hate that I have to beat mobs one thousand times to fight the boss. Boss fights are really fun tho

Overall excellent, but can crash at worst times

Love game up until the end; cannot complete due to crashing. The last battle(s) takes 2+ hours. No save points. Repeated crashing means…retry and pray doesn’t crash. Which it will. Unacceptable. (Update: dial down video settings…and I avoided the crashing issues.)

Incredibly beautiful game

Game is great, especially part 1. But omg, so much grind at the end. Boss fights last 30+ min, and they all the same. You got the pattern and repeat the same thing 100 times. And let’s be honest, game is great, but not great enough to grind so much.

Worthwhile, Reminiscent of Classic Final Fantasy

If you’re hungry for a modern take on the classic turn-based Final Fantasy games, you really can’t pass FANTASIAN up. The developer (Mistwalker) was founded by the creator of the FF series, and it shows. The game has all the feel of a classic RPG with some clever updates and more modern style. That said, I’m just not that interested in turn-based RPGs anymore. I had fun with the game in spite of that, but it didn’t change enough of the formula for me personally. If you’re more of a JRPG fan and lament that Square refuses to return to the original formula, you’ll easily find this to be a 4 or 5 star game though.

Nicely done

I have gotten a decent way into it and am satisfied. Works well and is paced for the phone. no gachas, stories alright if a little shallow, graphics are hittin. The hero, par for the course, looks like Tim Henson dressed like 2b
