Far From Home

How far are you from home right now? Far From Home measures the geodesic distance between you and your home base in real time, plots it on a map, and keeps a private history of every place you’ve recorded. No accounts. No ads. Your locations stay in your own iCloud. LIVE DISTANCE A large, glanceable number on a map that follows you. Compare the distance to marathons, Grand Canyons, and other real-world scales. Switch between kilometres, miles, or nautical miles. TRIPS AND MILESTONES Record a visit wherever you are. Far From Home groups them into trips, with map snapshots you can open later. Optional low-power auto-tracking logs bigger moves in the background without a GPS drain. WIDGET AND LOCK SCREEN Add the distance widget to your Home Screen, Lock Screen, or StandBy. Trip Mode can show the live distance on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. GUESSING GAME Play a daily challenge or a classic multi-round game: tap the map, guess the distance, and climb Game Center leaderboards. ACHIEVEMENTS Unlock bronze, silver, and gold badges as you roam farther, visit more places, and keep a daily streak. SHARE CARDS Turn a personal record or a trip into a branded map card you can send to friends. PRIVACY Location and travel history sync through your personal iCloud container. Nothing is sent to us. Purchases and Game Center stay with Apple. EXPLORER PACK (OPTIONAL ONE-TIME PURCHASE) Unlock multiple home bases, alternate app icons, and on-device Apple Intelligence trip stories and name suggestions. No subscription. Family Sharing supported. Anyone who already bought Far From Home before this update keeps multiple home bases at no extra charge. AI FEATURES Trip stories and smart name suggestions use Apple Intelligence on compatible devices. Everywhere else, a local fallback story still works.
