What's New in FareGate
1.2.2
September 3, 2026
A dry run, then the real thing. - Setup now asks what you're studying for, which app takes your breaks, and how often. Answer, and it adds up what a day of fares would clear in the cracks — from your own numbers, at 10 cards a fare. - The practice gate is now a plain dry run: three cards, a simulated app, and a note that Screen Time is what opens your real apps. - Turn on Screen Time and pick an app, and your first real gate opens inside setup — an opening fare of 3 cards; the everyday fare is 10. Setup then sends you into your app while the window is live and finishes the rest at the concourse. - Until your own deck is connected, gates run on FareGate's built-in starter cards — 15 now, kept on your phone and labeled as starter fare. Bring your own deck whenever you're ready. - The notifications ask now comes with the daily reminder, not bundled into the Screen Time step. - Settings gains "Walk through setup again".
