About

FareGate locks the apps that eat your day behind your own Anki deck. Pick the apps to gate; iOS Screen Time keeps them shut; clear ten cards and you've earned fifteen minutes. The cards are yours — imported from your real collection, including decks made with AnKing or AnkiHub — and with a FareGate account and our open-source desktop bridge, your reviews sync back to Anki, so nothing you do here is wasted. Money never opens the gate: there are no paid skips, for anyone, and the emergency pass is always free. Finished your reviews for the day? The gate opens free, and we tell you so. The gate isn't a goal-checker that just confirms you studied somewhere else — the gate IS the study session, on the phone, right where you reach for the feed. • Your actual cards, rendered faithfully. Not a quiz clone — your own notes and templates, shown the way you expect. • The toll is cards, not dollars. Ten cards buys fifteen minutes. The toll is always reviews; there is never a paid skip. • Earn your minutes, then get on with your day. When time's up, the gate returns. • A fair toll, honestly built. An emergency pass is always free when you truly need through. No fake urgency, no dark patterns. You feel it work before you commit: your first gate opens in a practice run — real cards, a real gate opening — before iOS ever asks for Screen Time permission. Import your Anki decks (.apkg). Built first for USMLE and med students already doing hundreds of reviews a day. FareGate Pro unlocks up to 50 gated apps, the Morning Gate, the Live Activity countdown and deep stats. • Monthly $4.99 / Annual $34.99, with a 7-day free trial. • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24h before the period ends; manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. • Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ • Privacy Policy: https://getfaregate.com/privacy Anki® is a registered trademark of Ankitects Pty Ltd. What's New in FareGate

1.2.2

September 3, 2026

A dry run, then the real thing. - Setup now asks what you're studying for, which app takes your breaks, and how often. Answer, and it adds up what a day of fares would clear in the cracks — from your own numbers, at 10 cards a fare. - The practice gate is now a plain dry run: three cards, a simulated app, and a note that Screen Time is what opens your real apps. - Turn on Screen Time and pick an app, and your first real gate opens inside setup — an opening fare of 3 cards; the everyday fare is 10. Setup then sends you into your app while the window is live and finishes the rest at the concourse. - Until your own deck is connected, gates run on FareGate's built-in starter cards — 15 now, kept on your phone and labeled as starter fare. Bring your own deck whenever you're ready. - The notifications ask now comes with the daily reminder, not bundled into the Screen Time step. - Settings gains "Walk through setup again".
