App was great until Telus bought it, now everything is overly complicated and not user friendly at all
Awful.
I used this app since it first came out. I have tried the new one since Telus bought it and it’s absolutely terrible now. Very disappointing how all that data I had is gone or useless now.
Ruined a good app
Used for years worked great, new app is complete garbage, and made years worth of old data basically impossible to retrieve or use.
Metric
Could you please add metric rates to your app. I emailed you numerous times when you changed to the new app asking for this to be done and your response was it was coming but has never eventuated. I have stopped using this app for this reason
This app sucks
Bring back the old farm at hand! You guys completely screwed this up.
Updated version
The updated version of farm at hand is terrible. The old app was so quick and simple to use, straightforward and easy. The new version is a whole new app that doesn’t resemble the old version at all. No metric system conversion anymore which I feel would be easy to implement if they cared at all.
Telus has wrecked this app
The original Farm At Hand app was great. Easy to use - and easy to get to. THEN …. Came Telus… the Telus Decisive partnership has not benefited the users. Half the time the app doesn’t launch. It makes you log in repeatedly. It is configured differently…. And we lost all the data of the previous 10 years - super annoyed with this new arrangement.

Metric issues
Have been using this for a few years, have been really happy with it until this new version. Living outside of Canada and US, am very disappointed with the lack of implementation of metric units.
Never had any issues before but now almost totally unsupported. Have to calculate all our inputs back it imperial measures that means nothing to my other employees.
Please implement these units.

Tri M Farms
We have used this app since 2015 and loved it. Easy to use, add or retrieve info from an iPhone or desktop. The field info was easy to add to in the field. Grain in storage was also very easy to manage allowing several of us to view bin levels and make adjustments. Now it is absolutely garbage. Since new owners have upgraded it it is slow to load , and very difficult to use. What a mess from what was an excellent product. We hate to change but will be canceling and finding something that works on our farm as opposed to what a software developer thinks we need.

Useless
New version is useless. Nightmare to navigate and most field inputs are useless. All old data for seeder/sprayer settings lost. Old app was great for in field data inputting, new app is garbage.
Bring back the old app
Completely ruined, I had to switch apps, trying to go back and look for information and it’s a nightmare
5 steps backwards
The old app was simple and easy to use. Instead of building on what worked quite well, they made this new app which is clunky, confusing and has much less usability and customization. Poor decision making on the developers part. I’ve all but quit using this app. Spreadsheets are easier than this.
Complete records
Pretty in depth app. Lots of detail capability. Quick updates of to do lists as well as equipment profiles
System crashes regularly.
I’ve been using Farm at Hand since before Telus and Decisive bought it out. It used to be a good data management app. I’m extremely disappointed that the app continues to crash and I routinely do not have access to my info. Currently, it won’t even let me sign in. I’m cancelling the subscription.
You had a good thing going
Guys come on you had a good thing going with the old farm at hand this new app sucks to put it mildly. Where's the dashboard with the nice pie from seeding and harvesting where is the total bushels stored in a nice graph. Where's the overview of the crop plan? There's just so much missing here I for one wouldn't hang around for long as it looks like nobody else will either. Really didn't want to go through another move again but this wouldn't work. Disappointed why oh why do you software people insist on always wrecking a good thing????? If it works don't fix it. That should be any software companies Moto.

New version is terrible
SO disappointed with the new version, Telus ruined a good thing. I used FarmAtHand for 7 years no issues, and recommended it to a lot of other farmers. The new version is absolutely terrible - bad enough that I will be switching to a completely different app for next season.
Don’t Fix what isn’t Broken!!
This used to be a 5 star app now. Company decided to muddle with it and now I’m left with 5yrs of field records left in a disjointed mess.
Terrible user experience
After FAH joined decisive and changed the app it’s a piece of garbage. I paid the premium access fee on the old app and LOVED it and the functionality for the 4 years I had it. Now I can’t even tell what I’ve got in storage. HUGE disappointment. Developers should be ashamed of ruining such a useful thing. I’d rate it zero stars if I could.

Try Combyne
Combyne is an app I just found that is a lot more user friendly. I used Farm at Hand for years but all there “upgrades” made it worse. Customer support with Combyne is much better too.
Ruined what used to be a great farm management app
This used to be a great app. Easy to use, intuitive design, clear and informative pages. As a premium subscriber it was worth the annual subscription. However it is terrible now. The redesign is messy, clunky and confusing to use. Storage totals are no longer shown, units of measurement are not customizable, and everything just feels thrown together. Too bad more time wasnt spent on improving an already good app rather than just trying to monetize the decisive farming section. I will be on the look for a new app for my farm. Shame
