LOVE this app! I was struggling to keep track of records, vaccinations, weights, birth dates, etc. I also wanted to track our feed purchasing. This app is my new bff everyday and I think I would have given up without it lol.

Great Software, UI gaps
I love everything this app is capable of. Way more than I need, but with the capability, I’ll use it with the result of being even more organized. There are a few gripes I have. Biggest is that there seems to be lacking a “back” function. I’ll be stuck on a page with no way of backing out. All I can do it close the app, which lead to loss of data just entered. That gets frustrating pretty quick. I wish there was a way to add an invoice that is not “revenue” yet and could track that it isn’t paid yet. Lastly, exporting an invoice as a PDF to send to a customer either paid or unpaid would be awesome.

Fix
Either it's loading slow or the app keep changing the production numbers to 0. One minute it'll be correct, then it'll zero out the numbers. App would be great otherwise!

Heats
I’d love to be able to track heats in the app I’m not sure if I can’t find how to do this but it would be helpful to track and then have an estimated for the next for each animals heat cycles for breeding season

Wonderful App!!
Farm keep is so helpful. It tracks all of the important inputs we need to keep track of on our farm. The features are amazing! From medical to production, to even feeding and finance. Couldn’t keep track of our operations without it!!
Great Program
I have been using Farm Keep for about 3 months now and it has been the best addition to my farm. Very user friendly and easy to navigate. The developers were very quick to respond to any emails that were sent. This was developed for us small farmers and homesteaders in mind and the best part, it’s reasonably priced as opposed to those other big name software programs. I highly recommend.

Initial issues
I need to click the link that has been sent to my email, but it hasn’t shown up. It is the right email (I keep checking to make sure), hit resend code a few times, and it is also not in spam. What do I do?
Some great features but…
I really like this app. There is so much you can do with it to help you stay organized, and keep up with the day to day on your farm. I am currently in the free trial of premium, and will most likely keep paying for premium. It’s super helpful tracking all kinds of production, at our farm it will be milk and honey. I do wish it would let you enter 1/2 gallon, as we only have 2 goats in production right now. The minimum you can do is 1 gallon, so I’ve had the mesure in oz.
I also really like how you can keep track of breedings, its super helpful that it knows the gestation of different species, and gives you due dates. However, I was most excited about the pedigree feature when deciding to upgrade to premium, and that has been a complete disappointment. It’s good for your own records at a glance, but I breed rabbits, and the pedigrees it gives you are garbage for selling purposes. It’s not laid out properly at all. It gives the name of the animal, but cuts off if it’s a longer name, and most people like to put their farm name in the rabbits name. It also list the breed, but again cuts it off. I breed Teddywidders, and on the pedigree it says (Rabbit: Teddywid…), and it lists their current ages at the time you send someone the pedigree, like (2yr, 9mo) so it would be difficult for someone else to refer back to later and know the correct age at a later date. It also doesn’t list color, weight, or if you’d like to input an ear tattoo number. So it’s pretty useless as an actual pedigree. If they could fix that to list all the information, and let you download it to be able to print and give to people, that would be amazing!
Final point I want to make, I really like how it allows you to have more than 1 farm. For me it’s nice because I manage a lot of stuff for my sister in laws farm, and we swap animals around a lot. When you are setting up an animals profile, it allows you to list the animal as “off farm” for if you sell it, or in my case if it’s at the other farm. That way it doesn’t show up in my active list of animals. But it would be nice if you could switch them between farms if you manage more than one. That way you don’t have to make duplicate profiles for the same animal when they’re at your different farm.
There are a lot of other great features to this app. You just have to play around with it a little to figure everything out. It’s pretty user friendly. My biggest complaint if with the pedigree feature. I would be thrilled if that could be fixed to where I could actually use it for what I need. I would like to be able to enter weights consecutively without having to click in and out of each animal.

Why 18+?
I would love to use this app, but it only allows users that are 18+. I know a lot of teenagers that homestead (including me), so it’d be nice if it was 14+ instead of 18+.

More options for flocks
I have a small hatchery and I have a flock of several breeds. I can’t do that with the app I have to pick 1 breed please fix this.

Options
There are quail, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, cows, sheep, goats, pigs, basically any poultry or other livestock animals you can think of and it’s all available without a subscription!! They even have Zebras on here, I mean, who has a zebra, but they have it!!

Best homestead map on market
App is great. I could end the review there but I won’t. It currently manages our homestead of over 200 animals.
I’m able to easily access the records for health information where they are what sort of breeding information I need for them as well as track finances, income and expenditure The list goes on.
Not only that this has to be one of the only apps I’ve ever come across where the developers are extremely responsive already implementing fixes from just a few emails. Knowing it’s a husband and wife putting it together and managing it makes it even better because they are making an app that works for them so it works for others.
They’ve mentioned they’ll be multiple updates rolled out without a price point change and this is excellent
